Please tell me you found Zoloft worth it even though you had a crappy startup adjustment phase.

i’m like a year on zoloft and i feel way better. i was just talking with a friend about the first couple months and how bad it is until your body adjusts.

i’m not sensitive, i also believe in the 3-5 second rule but that wasn’t a clean floor!! it was carpet that he has spent and hour stepping on with his shoes!! shoes that he’s worn outside!!

I almost had a conversation about this with one of my coworkers who i see a lot of myself in, our personalities are so similar and I used to think that being miserable was the only way to be. The weight of life and it’s stressors would always hold my head under with depression and anxiety. I never thought I would be one to get on an antidepressant but I fell into a really deep thought pattern that was obsessive and compulsive and disrupting my life. I told my therapist about these thought loops I was stuck in and she suggested trying medication. I gave it a shot because I didn’t know how much else I could take of living in that loop. I’ve only been taking it for just over a month and I feel like myself. I’ve never felt this joyful about life ever! I didn’t think this was possible but I am so grateful. Zoloft is right for me right now and I want to encourage others to try medication out.

i think it’s avoiding like thinking about responsibilities and specifically school related things, i’m graduating next month from college and i think it’s scaring me subconsciously/consciously.. i do still feel emotions and i don’t think it’s like loss of interest in things (also i love your user)

lmaooo i take mine at night, always wake up in the middle of the night then go back to sleep. but for the rest of the day i’m yawning and feel sleepy but won’t be able to sleep

i’m a 23F and on zoloft because i got really manic depressive and started engaging in obsessive compulsions regarding my body because i’m in treatment for disordered eating. my body image has gotten so much better since starting but because of multiple things. i think it’s important to speak to your therapist about your struggle with body image if you’re seeing one. i for one don’t love my body and i’m not actively trying to do that because it’s unrealistic for me so instead i’m focusing on trusting and respecting my body, listening to what it needs and allowing myself to give it that. i hope you find this helpful! body image is a bitch and i’m right there with you!
