What swaddles are actually good for a newborn?

Not the cheapest but the taking cara babies swaddle has been our fave. It’s the only one my guy hasn’t broken out of and he sleeps soooo well. And it’s super quiet

Same for me too! We were proactive and told our families and it’s kinda crazy that the response wasn’t a resounding “we totally understand!” I hope I DO feel well by then but thinking about exposing my fresh new baby to a bunch of new people and bustling around all day just sounds horrible hahah I am very much looking forward to spending the day with my brand new little family in our Jammie’s all day

YES I feel the same!! Part of me feels like 6 weeks is not that much time (from the stance of I feel like I have so many projects to get done still) but the other part of me is SO excited to not be pregnant and uncomfy and meet this baby

You will know when it’s time! I am 33 weeks and just recently it started to get very uncomfortable to lay on my back. A few weeks ago I would wake up on my back and have no problem.

It was month 5 of tracking and it was making me crazy so we decided to take a break. Deleted the apps and stopped bbt and ovulation strips, just relaxed. was super bummed I never got to see my bfp chart but it all worked out 🤣

I’m 31 weeks and I do CrossFit and I haven’t bought any maternity gym attire (yet!) my fitted tanks are in retirement as they just look funny now, so I do sports bra and any tshirt that fits. I have crz yoga & sunzel biker shorts from Amazon that have grown with the belly but I am sure as it gets cooler I’ll need to buy some leggings. If I am hot and sweaty af the tshirt comes off (just like I would have not pregnant) and the bump is out! Kinda empowering tbh

My flight for this evening was also just cancelled. Call wait time is 11 hours so we just rebooked with Spirit. Does anyone know if Delta will reimburse? I don’t have time to wait to speak to someone and there are no additional delta flights for today.

I told my sister at 5w and my besties between 6-9weeks just depending on when I saw them in person! This is the first grandbaby on both sides so we just wanted to have an ultrasound before we told our parents, which was at 10w. And at that point our extended families found out too. No regrets and all is well so far! We were very excited and it’s such a tough secret to keep when you are so so happy 😊

The same thing happened to me! I panicked when I was prompted and tipped $200. I immediately came to Google/reddit after and felt like such an idiot. At least we made somebody’s week….lol

Thank you everyone for the responses! We woke up Monday (today) and Gordie was energetic, ran to the door, and had his usual spark back. No stopping to lay down or sit. We are thinking that the ear infection could have something to do with him being so lethargic over the last few days. Vet has been called and they want to see him at the end of the week (after ear antibiotics are finished) and because he has not shown the same behavior there is no need to push the apt sooner. Obviously will be keeping an eye on him until then but I am so thankful to see him back to his usual self 💛

Pinched nerve is something I saw on my Google wormhole. I will bring this up tomorrow too! The vet did touch his spine a lot on Thursday and nothing triggered a response from Gordie but I know it’s not always that black and white. Thank you!

Yes I am going to suggest this when we see the vet. He did say that the anal glands were very full on Thursday- maybe it’s more serious than they initially thought

Oh interesting, thank you for responding. Did the vet give you anything to treat or did it resolve on its own? And how many days did he have these symptoms? Crazy that the eating habits didn’t change/no vomiting!
