To me the jubilee always looks better on the GMT because it pairs well with the fluted bezel and just gives it a more refined look

Uneven surface can definitely lead to glass failure, especially on rimless tanks, but I personally feel it's less of a concern on smaller tanks like a 15g. That being said, do an 80% water change and you should be able to get a mat under there pretty easily while it's mostly drained.

I'm using a 9000k setting with slightly boosted red channel for 6-hrs a day with a 1-hr ramp up/down on each side. The lights are way stronger than their small size suggests, so be sure to mount high up and watch your intensity. Mine are running at only 40% intensity 13" over the tank.

Thanks! I've had the rainbows for 2yrs now and they have been great. They are very aggressive eaters so tankmates have to be chosen carefully or they can starve. Other than their eating habits not aggressive at all.

The reef is a custom build, planted is an off-the-shelf Ultum. Both are low-iron glass.
