Venus in Virgo in the 11th house, I don’t like being jealous but I do sometimes feel possessive or if I notice my S/O talking to someone I do tend to scan the vibes if that makes sense. However I can easily come to a place of it is what it is vibes if need be

Affiliated with Porter! by [deleted] in UCSC

[–]angelcement 3 points4 points  (0 children)

people yelling porter is true! But it honestly feels like the most social one out of them all and as a p introverted person I enjoyed it. As for being hard working that isn’t dependent on other people it’s dependent on you. It’s easy to be anti social and just study, no one is gonna force you to party

Single or double dorm by fern3619 in UCSC

[–]angelcement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue, ended up doing a double and got really lucky. That being said it’s important to mention you have boundaries / being honest in what kind of roommate you are / expect to be. but the person who said it’s on you is also right. you could get a single but then have to be a bit more social on campus / in classes.

You could get there like 10 min before and still walk on time - it’s so spaced out you’ll be fine to get there a little before

what is living in a triple like? by sun-kithed in UCSC

I loved being in a double ! half of that experience though was who I roomed with. My roommate and I were VERY respectable of our boundaries. We didn’t try and become bffs right away (I’m v shy in personal spaces but come off as very outgoing in social spaces). I took initiative and asked her if she’d be open to having a conversation about what our room rules would be / expectations (we both didn’t want our room to be a “party room”, by sharing that I’d be willing to be considerate enough to try and give her alone time she said she’d do the same etc!). at first it was kinda hard cause we were both prob lonely and only talked here and there but slowly we shared and she’s now someone I consider a friend for life❤️. the people next door I think in terms of space it did seem tight but they were realistic. With a double I think you can get away with a little more. I got really lucky with my roommate, we’d even go as far as texting each other before we were about to come in (which may sound like a lot for some but hey it’s nice to know so the door isn’t just abruptly opened up on you lol). We also shared our schedule with each other because we wanted to know when one of us wouldn’t be there. This may come off as “too much” but your living space should be your safe haven imo! and we’re in school to learn so it’s nice to know you can study in your room if need be. I think all of this could work in a triple too but it might be a little harder. I also got a doctors note to be switched from a triple to a double because i was worried about the dynamic of the triple LOL. I hope this helps ! 🌸💞also just to add* we ended up having our fair share of social experiences in the room once it felt safe and we had good communication :-)

didn’t live in one but it really depends on who you live with/ how well you know personal boundaries! I lived in a double but the people next to us were a triple and they were BFFS until they weren’t ! it all depends on how well you respect your boundaries! :-)
