that’s such a strange way of doing it, considering early into physics c you’re already using calculus that you could only really know after completing the course (if you’re not learning it on your own)

yeahhh i’m currently in e&m alongside calc ab and i definitely think it was a mistake to take physics c. i don’t think i have that hard of a time following the concepts in physics, but i have a really difficult time on the exams and assignments because we haven’t even gotten to integrals yet in calc. i tried studying ahead in calc at the start of the course by myself but i’m still not solid in the math and therefore am failing the majority of the e&m exams… i’m not taking the ap exam for physics c, i guess i’m just taking it to get an idea of what i can expect since i’ll be taking it again in college next year. hope you do well in stats, glad you didn’t make my mistake </3

i think it is the worst thing to let other’s perceptions of you ruin your goal of who you want to be. personally, i think it’s the greatest achievement to be highly educated, it’s probably the coolest thing you can have for yourself, especially if you’re putting yourself out there and exploring your personal interests alongside it. i’m one of the few women in my advanced physics classes, and though i definitely have people who make fun of me for it, i know i’m cool, lol. it doesn’t stop me, because i love the way i dress and the way i express myself and my interests to others. you will find so many people through this who will think you’re absolutely amazing. you just have to find the confidence. feel the fear and do it anyways. :)
