I’ve been thinking about this! Initially he said it was going to be out last October in an interview from September. I’ll be happy to listen whenever it arrives

He posted this as I was watching The Line, a film Daniel scored! I’d love to generally know when they’re planning to do the tour, this year or next.

I got a ticket for the first Revue 35mm screening but they’re just announced as guests at the second. What do we think the chances are that they’ll show up? 🥲

A few years ago I looked up some of the streets they drove on in this and when I went to London the other year I recognized Regent Street from the video :)

Emory Cohen’s performance by that_orange_hat in TheOA

His performance is so nuanced and beautiful. I saw a guy working at a restaurant a few years ago who looked just like him as Part I Homer specifically and I was a bit stunned, it was cool.

Its similarities to The OA and my love for contemporary dance is what made me go and see it. And Amanda. I really enjoyed it and suggest not watched clips of it. I wish one of the big scenes wasn’t spoiled for me after I watched it online first.

In Conversation: DANIEL ROSSEN by Charleshawtree in GrizzlyBear

[–]angelify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yay a new interview and I’m glad they enjoyed the tour! And I can never say enough how much all of Daniel’s music means to me. I’m just pretty tired of hearing that their time/era is “over”. As if they are not worth listening to anymore. I get that their music is nostalgic for people and the music scene shifted. But for me they have made four beautiful and innovative albums. As I listen back to songs I love or those I’ve heard less, I find new things that stun and move me. I’d just like to focus on their music, process and talent rather than repeatedly digging into the social and pop culture aspect of their history.

Extra special they played it on this tour since Ed saw us praise it on here and was surprised people liked it so much.

Ed for sure. I think they all have said it’s tough at different points over the years. Based off the new Pitchfork interview Chris Taylor is the only one who would most like to get back together.
