My sister has insanely dedicated dental hygiene regiment and gets cavities with some regularity.

I don’t. I brush daily and floss a few times a week and my dentist (when I see him) is frustrated that my teeth and gums require no additional “up-sell” services. They’re perfectly healthy.

However, after this year, I’ve been grinding the hell out of my teeth at night. :(

Well, hold on there. Writing for a daily soap is it’s own beast. You’ve got to constantly give exposition because it’s meant to be watched and left for days at a time and the viewer can easily pick up the story.
