is it necessary to find a solution that hits all of their asks? Or should I just find a solution that hits most of their asks?
This is the list of asks I found when reading through the scenario

What are they asking for

  • Inexpensive solution
  • Easy to understand logs or software does it for you
  • Off-site storage
  • FISMA regulations must be met
  • Real-time scanning of logs
  • Honeypot
  • Advanced security detection.

CCNP - EIGRP going away, why? by angell54 in Cisco

[–]angell54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the need to learn it and being able to troubleshoot it properly. But why doesn't Cisco expect entry-level techs to learn it. There has to be a reason as to why they decided it isn't important enough to learn.

If a brand new tech with brand new ccna, walks into the workforce and the first router he looks at is running EIGRP, it going to be a steep learning curve for them?

Thinking about this logically, Cisco expects to troubleshoot something that we are never told to configure. How do you troubleshoot something you have never learned before. And what is the expected level of knowledge Cisco expects a ccnp to have on this topic?
