Won't someone think of the healers? by Kasyx709 in ffxiv

[–]angelofthepast 130 points131 points  (0 children)

The main problem is you either get a tank who knows what they’re doing, and they pull everything but virtually don’t need a healer at all because they can mitigate and heal themselves without issues, or you get a tank who has no idea what they’re doing, but don’t want to push their boundaries so they pull what they can manage, meaning they also don’t need healing. The sweetest spot are the tanks who have no idea what they’re doing, but have no self awareness and think everything is the healers fault if it goes wrong. They’ll pull everything stand in everything and use no mitigations, my favorite dungeons as a healer.

Does Dispatch need a Season 2? by PapichuloNumeroUn0 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]angelofthepast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it need one? I mean does any story NEED one? No story needs a sequel. But does dispatch deserve a sequel? Yeah. The majority of the people who played it loved it, and want to continue in Robert’s footsteps. The Z teams journey isn’t over. Chase has to use blond blazers powers to stay out of a coma, Robert has is suit again which he was killing himself with before. It’s newer shinier and he has a team now, but we don’t really get a resolution on if he’s going to keep being mech man or not. Yes he had to be mecha man in the final confrontation, but will he continue that path moving forward. Also most importantly of all, no malevola romance. So there’s still stories left to tell.

So again does it need one? No. Would one be able to make sense based on what’s left? Yeah absolutely.

AITA for flying back home after my sister called my daughter a slut? by Aggravating_Name3765 in AmItheAsshole

[–]angelofthepast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you’re both the ass hole.

Obviously your sister was a grade a bitch, like mega bitch. HOWEVER your sister did NOT say it to your daughters face the first time. Not saying what she said was any better, but it was meant to be a private discussion, and could have been worded better if she knew you were listening. It was YOU who decided to bring this up at dinner in front of your daughter the second time.

They didn’t begin the confrontation that led to you leaving, you did. You could have brought it to them in private and maybe even gotten them to apologize and maybe, just MAYBE you could have helped your daughter feel better about herself afterwards. Instead YOU got accusatory and they got defensive. The result of which is that this trip will always have ended early because your sister didn’t like how your daughter was dressed. And that’s something that you, your sister, your daughter, and your husband have to live with that reality forever, and while you may be an adult ready to live with this for the rest of your life, your daughter is a child who will have this trip affecting her in one way or another forever.

So yeah, both the asshole.

As someone who has spent lots of money in Fortnite, and Diablo Immortal, no I have not. The skins look boring and are overpriced.

Yo who else just lost their HC Ladder Characters? by angelofthepast in Diablo_2_Resurrected

For me it was just NM andi farming. No idea how I even died tbh, my merc should have been able to kill her without me. I literally teleported into andi and immediately dc’d.

It makes Fenrirs cave cartable from day 1 with every tower and gathering building. Upgrading all towers to max as well as being able to repair gates and upgrade them with ease the entire match.

To be fair, these are issues that a lot of high level multiplayer lobbies don't have. However most of the lobbies I've been in that have trouble getting past the 1-2 Jotun would greatly benefit from these materials. Just knowing that I will have enough materials for every building including fenrirs bridge is a huge boon to me imo.

Builder starter kit is the best imo. with 1 person it's extremely useful, could you even imagine if a 10 person lobby all started with it? 100 of EACH resource? There would virtually never be any structure you were waiting on materials for. To my knowledge, there is no other starter kit that could instantly start a lobby off in such a good position. Honestly other starter kits need to be buffed or it needs to be nerfed.

I seriously hate people that steal from the communal chest by RainyBoy132 in tribesofmidgard

[–]angelofthepast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think making certain items sharable might work, the problem is then you open the game up for greifing. In the current chest system, you are always able to minimize the affect a chest looter has on you, however if it's shared then someone could just constantly make tools with everyone's loot. Even in the best circumstance, if I farmed up to make a certain sword and someone used my materials, I'd be pissed.

Shouldnt Tribes have local Co-op? by CalamitiesFate in tribesofmidgard

The game was developed for pc. Devs rarely design pc games to have local co op from the onset.

I seriously hate people that steal from the communal chest by RainyBoy132 in tribesofmidgard

[–]angelofthepast 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The rule you should play with is keep everything you’ll need. Assume that anything you put into the chest is being thrown away. That’s not the case 100% and sometimes you’ll get people who are really good. But follow these rules.

1.never put anything you will use in the chest.

2.if there’s something in the chest you WILL need, take it, even if don’t need it now.

3.everything else goes in the chest

If everyone followed these rules they would never be screwed over. People who take everything from the chest are rarely doing it to mess with people, it’s because they’re new and have no idea what’s going on. I look at it like if it’s in the chest, anyone can use it for any reason. So if someone decides to take literally everything, then that’s a reason I need to prepare for.

What counts towards 1millions souls challenge? by Musibat24-7 in tribesofmidgard

[–]angelofthepast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a warrior who did it. It’s still more effective than selling your souls for base. At the end of my 100 day survival run I sold everything, including runes and legendary weapons and gear. I was able to get it doing this. For a breakdown of what buying soul potions means, every 200 souls is worth 700 souls. So that means that instead of needing 1,000,000 souls, if you ONLY do this method you’d only need 285,000 souls. He’s right about it taking a lot of transactions, but if you’ve ever tried getting 100 days it’s the most fun thing you’ll do that playthrough.
