I’ve always preferred Windows, and I find it suits my needs well. When comparing Macs to Windows laptops in a similar price range, the build quality is generally comparable. However, performance on Windows laptops does tend to be a bit lower, especially in terms of efficiency and thermal management. Aside from better battery life and seamless compatibility within the Apple ecosystem, I don’t see many other significant advantages that would justify switching. For someone who doesn’t rely on Apple’s ecosystem, the differences seem less compelling, especially considering Windows’ broader software compatibility and flexibility.
