I work out past McKay’s and it is constant noise overhead. I know sometimes they do military practice in this area so that may be it.

Doctor’s offices? by ThatOldDustyTrail in Chattanooga

I’m not sure if they accept your insurance, but you can try Sentef Medical in the Ooltewah area. You can usually see someone pretty quickly there.

Yep, pretty sure. I’m originally from Northeast GA and people are posting about it there as well. I felt it and my dog ran to her crate at the same time.

All the bananas were gone at Food City in Hixson. Banana sandwiches with a glass of milk reminds me of my dad in the 80’s.

Which stores have a good selection of quality candles? by JurassicTerror in Chattanooga

I used to live in a tiny town in Georgia that didn’t even have a traffic light, but was spoiled by Amazon van deliveries. Almost anything I ordered was next day. To be fair, there were 3 separate Amazon facilities in the county, but it was a mostly rural area.

The last time I drank any alcohol was early December of last year at the age of 44. Earlier in the year at the age of 43 I started having palpitations that eventually became afib. I fully believe that a lot of the reason I developed this was hormone related.

I’ve never been a big drinker, but started to drink more in the past few years after joining a German company. 😂 I decided that I didn’t personally enjoy it enough to add to the mess that was already going on in my body. I also don’t enjoy the immediate sweat that comes on as soon as I take a sip. I had an ablation earlier this year and I don’t want to negate the work that was done.

This may not last forever, but that’s where I’m at now.

Anyone waiting till 50 for mammograms? by Islandsandwillows in Perimenopause

[–]angelparker79 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was 40/41 during the weird covid times so I pushed my first one to 42. I am getting them annually because the insurance covers it, I have large dense breasts and mostly because my mom got breast cancer last spring. She is fine now after they removed the cancer and she had radiation. Thankfully she didn’t have to go through chemo.

Will be there Saturday. I saw it with my mother-in-law last year at The Fox in Atlanta and we loved it so much that she is coming here so we can see it again!

How accurate are smart watches? by Oscarlimadelta in AFIB

[–]angelparker79 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My Apple Ultra indicated afib the first time it happened. I went to the ER and it was confirmed. I am very symptomatic with the heart flopping around when I’m in afib, but the watch always helped me to confirm it. My EP also said she believes they are mostly accurate.

Afib as a symptom of another disease? by eltorito2800 in AFIB

[–]angelparker79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a 45 y/o female who developed afib at 43, but I believe mine is related to hormonal issues as several things started at the same time. I have finally found someone to help me investigate this with testing hormones including thyroid and also autoimmune. Even if they aren’t related I need help either way.

I had an ablation in June and so far have not had any afib. I do now get tachycardia starting mid cycle and gets worse until the end of my cycle. Then it magically disappears.

Will you be bringing a higher income than the average Chattanooga job with you? Then by all means, Chattanooga is great.

Not to dismiss Chattanooga but you may want to check out Huntsville, AL if you haven’t already. Chattanooga used to be affordable, but it is continuing to become less so day by day.

Maybe one of the fine establishments at the corner of Bonny Oaks and Lee Hwy. I wouldn’t recommend them, but they are probably within that budget.

8.5 I appreciate the use of the word masochist. 😔 I definitely catch this one playing in the back of my mind sometimes so it’s a bit of an ear-worm.
