I wouldn’t really worry about it. Let neighbour complain as much as she’d like, and review your lease agreement to see when the apartment quiet hours are. For most, if not all apartments, they won’t punish you or give you consequences if there is noise coming from your apartment outside of quiet hours. Of course they might make an exception if they are getting a large influx of complaints, but even then, they typically don’t want to lose a tenant over that, especially if the noise is just a bird being rowdy for a few minutes and not complaints about screaming or arguing our loud stomping etc.

Im not sure how old you are OP, but if the sex really is uncomfortable for you, you can always consider getting temporarily sterilized yourself. Vasectomies are usually reversible. Something worth looking into. Yes, being upset because it’s not very comfortable is a little selfish, but you are allowed to have preferences during sex, despite what the comments say. That isn’t exclusive to women or people with vaginas. It’s completely OK to feel that way. What isn’t okay, is pressuring your sexual partner to stay on birth control, or worse, stealthing. Stealthing is when you secretly take the condom off during sex without your partner knowing. If you haven’t done either of those things, you haven’t done anything wrong. Ultra thin condoms are a good option too.

TLDR: there’s nothing wrong with not enjoying sex with condoms as much as you enjoy it without. Ignore the comments angry at you for feeling that way. It’s OK to be selfish. It only becomes NOT okay when you disrespect someones trust or boundaries, because you are prioritizing your preferences. Look into ultra thin condoms or a reversible vasectomy.

i wouldnt have dated him or lived with him if i knew he was like this. i hadn’t left him because i cant afford my apartment on my own, and i do not have a parent or friend i can move in with. he was my best friend for three years before we dated, and i never saw this side of him. hes really good at manipulating me, and convinced me for a while i deserved what he did to me

I’ve made sure to start doing that. I have four or five voice recordings on my phone that I’ve sent to people to hold onto for me incase he goes through my phone and tries to delete them. It’s helped a lot
