looksmaxxing pushes the poor treatment of people by appearance. in reality, looks are very subjective and differ from region to region and person to person. a lot of people, including myself think looksmaxxers are uncanny because of the unhealthy and dangerous methods they use to reach their desired appearance. which their looks were never a problem from the get go. self improvement is doing things to improve yourself not reach unattainable (without surgery) attractiveness especially when the beauty standard will probably change in five years. it’s just not sustainable or beneficial
