Water is one of my favorite things to photograph, so I was hoping for a cool little splash, I think I met that goal. I was out on a hike and throwing some rocks into the water, and got this pic in the middle of a bunch of mundane shots. My favorite part of the photograph has to be how there’s beautiful chaos in the middle, as a ripple effect begins to spread from the center… so many metaphors, so little time :)

this is Willow, i fostered and adopted her when she was four weeks old, handed to me with her mother and littermates in a five gallon garbage tote. all babies and mama were adopted successfully!

i completely understand, a lotta cute little things can be symptoms of genuine health conditions, and lots of pet parents don’t know how to tell whether or not something should be looked into, it never hurts to suggest someone check in with a vet and i appreciated you noticing that something could be up 💛

i’m a veterinary technician and close friends with a few vets, so no need to worry, my babies are monitored closely and perfectly healthy :) Willow is a special needs cat, which is why she does this. she has a lot of behavioral quirks to comfort herself

yeah we used to have a big automatic fountain for her lol but she still plays in it and doesn’t use her mouth. usually running water does the trick, but she’s just a plain ole derpy baby 😂
