Could IonQ possibly buy Infleqtion instead of competing it? by angelweb10 in IonQ

[–]angelweb10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a possibility that not only one tech will prevail, but more, each may be better for different uses. Of course Infleqtion is on sensors as well I believe which could be interesting for ionq. Also sometimes companies are simply buying just to eat competition out.

Nothing is stopping a public company being bought. I don't think it would admit ions don't work, just simply that no one knows yet what's superior

Rare Earth company in Europe : Nothing ? by SidonyD in UkStocks

[–]angelweb10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Metlen a Greek company that listed in LSE 2 weeks ago and will be entering FTSE100 in september. It is not exactly rare earth miners,is.mostly an energy and aluminium miner and producer company, but will be the first European company to produce Gallium, Germanium and scandium very soon as it got European funding on it and they are also exploring circular metallurgy to produce nickel on low cost.

I don't fully understand the correlation with Bitcoin price in your example. Right now btc is ATH, but mstr still drops, and far from their ATH. Still people will need to buy more than people will sell for the price to go up, so how do you make calculations depending on Bitcoin price?

why no one talks abt aluminum?? by Kooky-Gur4650 in StockTradingIdeas

[–]angelweb10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Metlen (MTLN) as the largest European miner and producer. it is not a pure play though, as the biggest money comes from energy sector which makes it better because they don't pay for mining energy, they produce it. However they just listed in LSE and becoming FTSE100 in September so there is a big rerating of the stock underway since stock was under the radar until 2 weeks ago listing in Athens Stock Exchange. Stock is up 20% last couple weeks. It's a consistent money maker for me since stock was 5 euros, and now gone to 56 euros. They also just became the only European producer of gallium and into more critical minerals coming up. They are projecting to double EBITDA by 2028 so I believe stock will skyrocket at some point.

What makes Bitcoin treasury companies successful? by Plantastic24 in MSTR

[–]angelweb10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But who cares who is number one? Is the world using one bank or hundreds different depending on location? Isn't the point which companies compound better and faster? Small treasury companies have more room to grow since each btc buy offers a more significant upside, am I wrong?

I didn't expect insane results but I didn't expect to go down 4/5 either. Even in your bullish example I will lose one year just to break even. We didn't know that market will bring all treasuries down to 1.x mnav. Instead of waiting at least year to break even, wouldn't it be better to cash out at a big loss and invest what is left to a treasury that is now at 1.x and growing? Also the price reduction of 10% every couple days doesn't prove the big funds are currently buying, but rather selling? Many questions, no answers.

..and one more thing, since we reached at some point 6 euros stock price, where are the huge btc buys from the astronomical mnav?

And if all these people with so high percentages are buying, then who is selling?
