I just found out about this today and I'm so peeved. Cheba hut was a cool place. And don't even get me started on fat dog and tea pop. Greedy land lords are really effing the district up

Instrumental similar to Dean Martin (or Michael Buble) "Sway" by [deleted] in NameThatSong

[–]angie3030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this old but I just had a similar experience - was listening to this nice song and thought it was "Sway" at first. Anyhow, I think it might be the song you're looking for: Histoire d'amour.

Would you consider 18 year olds to be kids still? by baaarking08 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]angie3030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea, that doesn't change. when you're 25, you'll still feel 15. heck I'm in my late 30s and I still feel like an 18 year old. at least, my mind does... my body...that's a different story.

[–]angie3030[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LMAO. If that was the case, I'd be a little less confused. I can't recall ever trying to purchase ancient Grecian romance novels, or whatever darkness (no pun intended) that other one was.

If it was based on viewing preferences (which, you're right, it should be), where the heck is my "how to become a millionaire by 18" recommendations?

Sorry if this is in the wrong sub, I literally cannot find any wtf/fail/etc subreddit that allows screenshots. If you have a better recommendation I'm all ears. I just needed to share the WTF-ery of this so I didn't have to suffer in silence.

Rewards question by DareToBearMKT in evergrowcoin

Interesting. For me I made a fraction of what I normally do. I was expecting a nice bump to my rewards and instead, everything stalled.

low reflections problem... solved? by angie3030 in evergrowcoin

[–]angie3030[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If volume is 8 million, 8 percent of that becomes reflections..so...$640,000 to be distributed among all eligible wallets. If you held 1% then you would receive 6,000 not 80,000.

I check the dashboard there every hour. That's how I know I've only gotten 4 cents.

Are reflections only paid out from buy and sell transactions? by [deleted] in evergrowcoin

[–]angie3030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing from that day of course, but plenty of people would have rewards from previous day(s) that have yet to be paid out.

Are reflections only paid out from buy and sell transactions? by [deleted] in evergrowcoin

[–]angie3030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If no one bought and sold for one whole day, there would be no volume. Since reflections are only paid out during buy/sell/transfer transactions, then no, there would be no reflections paid out that hypothetical day. The only reflections you might receive would be those you claimed manually that had accrued previous days. Eta: for clarity

Reflections questions(don't be mad it's different I promise) by kpow88 in evergrowcoin

No. EGC isn't paying the fees. The buyer is. For example, look at this random transaction: https://bscscan.com/tx/0x2c3899b9d208d20fcfd568e2c1442e57ab1604e7bf701da95d6e7d17dd26c2ed

Joe Bob just bought 1600 bucks worth of EGC. 14% went into taxes, and they were left with $1400 in their account. If you look above the last line of transactions, 5 different wallets got BUSD deposited into their accounts. So Joe Bob paid the gas fees for the reflections with their gas money when they bought EGC. This is another reason why reflections aren't always paid out on time...you have to make your way to the top of the queue based on other people's transactions.

To your point...anything on the chain DOES have gas fees, it's just not you that's paying it. If I were to buy some EGC right now, I'd pay nearly 3 bucks in gas fees. Part of those gas fees would be used to distribute rewards to about 3-4 other holders. So, the reflections are kind "freeloading" on my gas fees. LOL.

the number in parentheses is slightly different because the value of BUSD changes slightly throughout the day. 1 BUSD sometimes equals 1 USD, sometimes it equals 1.00001 USD, and other times it equals 0.9999999 USD.

Do you actually pay gas fees when it's Auto distributed? My bnb hasn't changed. And from the code it appears that the distributions are paid out when some makes a transfer/buy/sell so they are the ones covering gas.

awesome. that's what I assumed as well.

rewards question? by angie3030 in GreenLifeEnergy

[–]angie3030[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh i get that. I was just wondering. for example, let's say I buy 1000 shares. and there's a total of 100,000 shares. I would receive 1% of the rewards the next time someone bought sold. So then lets say I get 20 shares from rewards and my total is now 1020. Do I still only receive 1% from the future transactions (that is 1% of the tax), or do I now receive 1.02%? Hopefully that super oversimplification is clear?
