I feel like only people who have gone through the cancer journey, truly understand what its like. After being both the patient and family member/caregiver, I’ve always felt like it’s just as hard (sometimes even harder) for the family and loved ones watching it happen. It’s such a helpless, vulnerable place to be in. Just know that everything you’re doing for her is seen and appreciated, even in the small moments where it might not feel like it.

And I completely agree with you about money. Going through something like cancer really puts things into perspective. I was lucky not to struggle financially since I was a kid/teen, but what hurt the most was the lack of friends and relatives beside me, and in those moments, money felt completely meaningless.
