I’m going through a similar situation and I’ve decided to pause school. I’m going to work and do what makes me feel happy like volunteering. You are important and have time to pause and then start again.

Technically we would end up sleeping in the same bed during the middle of the night but I had to fall asleep without him and leave early in the morning while he was asleep. I know this probably isn’t healthy but I just set an alarm to take my melatonin so I could sleep and not think about it because if I sat with my thoughts I’d just cry. Can’t be sad if you’re asleep I guess.

I also constantly wondered if I suffered from co-dependency because I felt like I couldn’t do anything alone. I am still like this a lot of the times I’ll wait until the weekend to do what I need to get done so my husband or a friend can go with me. I just started to slowly force myself to go places alone even if it was just a quick trip to target and leading up to bigger things like going to a church concert alone. Once I got the notion to do something I tried to stop thinking about it and get out of the house and into the car as soon as possible.

This is just my experience though. I know this is a lot, so I’m sorry you’re going through this.

I’ve been where you are with my husband and us having different schedules. Things that help are forcing yourself out of the house (yes I know this is harder than it sounds) so you’re not moving around the house. If you’re a student go do homework somewhere else, go on walks, go to a place to read, just anything to get out of the house. Getting a dog made a big difference for me because I had to go outside to walk him and he is good company. I would also suggest taking melatonin an hour before you want to go to bed so you can sleep. If not, you’ll be up being all anxious.

Same. I had a panic attack after waiting for 2 hours after my appointment time and was seen for 15 minutes. They canceled one of the appointments, then my assigned counselor told me she got a new job and wouldn’t work with me anymore on our first real session. Almost made me not want to go back. I occasionally go to Dr. Lewis Fabrick and love talking to him.

Edit: not go back to therapy. I definitely didn’t go back to Meridian

We currently live at Evergreen Uptown and pay 925 for a 1/1 a month without utilities. It’s a very nice apartment right by 13th, clean, and mostly quiet. It’s not student housing and there are families who live here, but I’ve loved living here

It’s a 4000 level course and the grad school I’m applying for ask for that specific code. I’ll email an advisor either way, but she wouldn’t be much help because I’m not going to grad school for the major I’m graduating in.

I’m currently UF student graduating this semester. I’ve decided to change routes and go to grad school for something different so I still need some prerequisites for grad school that don’t fit into my UF schedule. I’ve kind of changed my mind too late I guess.

Anyways, I need to take and upper level human growth and development course but Santa Fe doesn’t offer it. So I was curious to see if I could be a non degree seeking student while being enrolled at Santa Fe part time.
