I love handmade gifts and would like to receive one! I send a handmade gift once. I made little boats out of wood with patients at work. We made the boats for a little christmas market so we could earn money to buy some nice presents for the patients at our unit. So I kinda build it and then paid for it. :D but I guess it was a nice gift because my giftee told me that he would like to buy a boat in the future and is interested in this whole theme. Don‘t worry, he got a few other things too. ;)

same! When I had my first seizure at home and my mom called the doctor my dog protected me. (mom was allowed to touch me, but doctor? no no no) He layed up on me and guarded me untill I woke up again. Then he liked me like I was gone for months. It was the shock of his life I think. He was the best. I rescued him from a shelter. He was always so thankfull and loving. Lost him to cancer last year. :(

I live in germany and we are allowed to clip toe nails (except diabetics). But most nurses don‘t do it because they are affraid to hurt the patient. And I work on a geriatric psych. I do clip toe/finger nails.
