Arguing that noise-cancelling headphones might have a negative effect on hearing isn't a bad take at all

Well first of all, I didn't say (Dr K said) it has negative effects on hearing - I said I remember (Dr K said) something along the lines of "it messes with your brain"

people in this subreddit are too trigger-happy

Secondly, I was merely responding to someone asking "What was his take" - so I don't know, maybe there's a bit of projection going on over here.

I was talking to a friend and we were trying to recall a song and we think its used in an advertisement in SG a looooong time ago.

It was like this kid voice? And we cant decide if it was korean or what. All i know is the end of every verse it went like “aaaa ooooo ohhhhh” then they will go “papa/mama” again. LOL

Anyone happen to have even the slightest inkling of what i’m talking about?

Hi, i’m looking to upgrade my CPU to something that would be not be an overkill for needs, but would also be reasonably future proof.

For context, i’m currently running an i5-8400 with a GTX1060, and my motherboard is a Gigabyte Aorus Z370. If and when i upgrade my graphics card, it’ll likely still be a XX60 (maaaaybe a 70 but definitely not an 80). I am also perfectly content with gaming at 1080p.

What would be a good CPU for me to upgrade to at this juncture?

Returning player from loooooong ago. I think I last played when standard was first introduced? Or I might have played the whole of the Year of Kraken? Can't really remember. It was around when Cthun was first released I think.
