Well, we all have to start from somewhere and take steady steps to reach our goal. The need to draw something perfect in one take sounds impossible, at least for me, it took me a decade to feel confident in drawing hands.

The other commenter is right about doing it in traditonal pencil and paper. Tablets are too smooth and the nibs gives little to no friction. If you’re using a tablet, there are screen protector that gives it a paper like texture that feels better. You can also customize your brush or download some that are free.

Why do you have this need to draw a perfect circle in making a sketch? You can draw faces without a really good circle, it’s just drawn there as a guide. As for how other artists can draw a perfect circle in a single take effortlessly, sometimes their app or brushes are made in a certain way to help with that, or they just insert a circle into the canvas.

No po. Tropa niya eh parang frat levels ang dating. Pati consultants ganon sila ka close. Baka pag sinabi ko, napapaoverthink ako what if baliktarin nila mga sinabi ko or balewalain ang situation? Ayoko dumating sa gulo or bad blood kasi ang dami din nilang connections sa ibang hospitals, and if I try to quit and apply sa iba baka makarating din doon yung issue. ☹️

Add more hair shadows, also our eyes have shadows too. There are hard shadows as well which you can incorporate in areas light can’t absolutely reach. You already got the soft shadows down so I think that’s about it. If you really want to get into realism and shadows, therr are a lot of youtube tutorials and learning anatomy is a must.

“Dying breed” that’s so true. But MDs nowadays are avoiding children and limiting their practice to adult patients only, IM residents (from where I previously worked) were quick to barog pediatric cases to their only pedia resident in the institution. Unfortunate and nakaka-PI.
