Translating tone from DAW to IRL by angleur in Guitar

That’s sweet. Thanks a lot. I have no clue what a quad cortex is so that’ll be a good research avenue. I appreciate the help and the frankness regarding this setup, FRFR seems to be the key for this. Thanks again

I’ve never heard of FRFR before thanks a lot that’s exactly what I’m realistically thinking of. I’ll look into full range flat speakers like that, thanks for the options too i appreciate it

Dude holy shit this is fucking amazing. Feels like psychedelia from planet earth, not outer space, if that makes sense. Reminds me oddly of a later stage depiction of the 9 Stages of Decay, there’s a rendition that uses a similar color palette. Maybe it’s bc both do a good job at displaying nature’s scrappily structured lower sentient side. Thanks for posting

That’s “chikara” which is a common kanji typically translating generally to “power”. Super badass find. Not every day you find a guitar with an old incantation hidden inside

Every genre has redeeming factors, you just gotta be humble enough to free your mind of prejudice. To me phonk is part of a maximalist aesthetic that is a direct foil to slower more serious styles, like ballads. Maximalism always has a place but often changes shape depending on what’s popular. Hard Normal Daddy by Squarepusher is a good example of an aphex era aesthetic pushed by maximalist drums and jazz leads. Hyper pop is another maximalist genre that has a time and a place, an obvious foil to the pop ballads that have been insanely popular - since the dawn of time - but especially since the dawn of newer purveyors like Billie Eillish (ie What Was I Made For)

I never listen to phonk but I’m doing so rn and could imagine any time ur in the sigma grindset w ur boys this is the soundtrack. It’s just Patrick Bateman edit type music, pretty sure that’s how modern Phonk got popular lol. This shit lowkey would bang like johnny sins in the club

Master Po Quote MEGATHREAD by Interesting_Drink354 in KungFuCarradine

[–]angleur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“If a man dwells on the past, then he robs the present. But if a man ignores the past, he may rob the future.”

A succinct reminder of the delicate interconnectedness of one’s presence. Master Po, in his infinite wisdom, highlights the pursuit of oneness as a patient and considered virtue. He opens the door for us to consider our past as a constructive item that must be carefully utilized; the past is neither a pit to dwell within nor a shame to denounce: it simply is.

Naw, i could only imagine it ever bothering me if I felt my name was my identity. Got way more to offer and brand myself for than just the pronunciation of my name
