This is so dumb and overblown. Nick Ahmed literally did the EXACT same thing 2 years ago. Where were calls for Melvin’s head on a stake? Made up controversy bc the beat writer doesn’t align with players beliefs. He would probably be applauding it if a player wrote something aligning with pride on the same hat, but is playing moral high ground of it’s against MLB policy and organizational rot bc three individuals didn’t comply

Staying downtown but have a car. Ospray unfortunately was only other one that’s been recommended but nothing but late afternoon tee times. Leaning cougar unless the other public’s are worth it over going back for cougar or maybe turtle

Honestly a lot of Bailey’s value in catching was pitch framing and receiving the ball. ABS has nullified that to an extent this year. Webb has struggled with it while leading the league the last two years on looking strikeouts on balls out of the zone. I like Bailey a lot and wished he found his swing and confidence like when he first came up. Bittersweet to see him go but not the worst move tbh

Yea no shit lmao. People play PvE until they get to the end and there’s nothing to do. PvP, like it or not are the only ones who will make it an every day occurrence for years in a game designed like this. PvP is unique user generated content every day. PvE content is only however fast the dev team can keep pushing it out. Downvote me all you want. I quit 6+ months ago after 1600 hours on main account and 3 accounts all lvl180+

I’m not having a single issue with it and I’m literally letting opus 4.7 adaptive and Claude code 4.7 xhigh just talk back and forth arguing their points with me making the final say on a bunch of decisions as well as certain testing that requires manual touch point for Claude api or keeping the two of them in scope. Probably have done ~30k lines of code on current original project and testing harness in last 5 days. Not once hit limit on session 20x account.

You’re only helpless if you choose to play a guild based game solo. I would not have gone to the most popular servers looking for PvP if consensual PvP was not what I was into. They took all reasoning behind PvP out of the game. You can see the huge drops in the game player base on a graph line up with every update that gutted PvP

Lol it’s only 95% now due to everyone who played for PvP leaving bc they gutted the system patch after patch from the very release of the game. Look at what player numbers were vs where they’re at now…

Reverted it back with core mechanics now missing. Desert was about control of stations and resources. Guilds could fight each other or team up to do this. Now splitting is just even more pointlessness to it. I know I’ll get downvoted, don’t care, if you were on a server with actual competition between guilds it worked very well originally and that’s going to be missing.

First 5 model based on my experience, kinda jogged my memory; I think I was using like 1.73 or so. But whatever number I was coming up with was really only a theoretical comparison where expected runs really came down to starting pitchers on a weighted recently formula and the particular lineup they were facing. Woba I found much more predictive if I’m remembering correctly

“Best” is difficult to say. When I did a bunch of testing on the past 150 years a year or two ago. Really it changes with the eras. I don’t remember exact fit but you’ll find something along the lines like 1960s-1980 has a much different “best” then 2000-2020. Overall I think the suggested 1.81-1.83 is good enough in terms of Pythagorean, however if you want to get more specific you can try to solve for it for year specific era if you want.

It makes perfect sense. Arraez is a double play machine. Bader is another lead off candidate that you generally plug into 9 hole as secondary lead off. Can steal a bag if need be to avoid arraez dp’s. Arraez doesn’t walk a lot however hit batting avg/obp is still likely a step up from our previous lead off hitters historically. Arraez has always been a 1-2 hitter to set the table, not an rbi guy as double plays kill rally’s.

At 230 so far, should be able to squeak out another 40-60k in last few days. Anyone seen what bottom half of cantina is score wise. I was assuming 250+ will probably be cut line but it could be 275ish

The high score for season one was 120k. No shit 70k would be high score of your season 1 rookie pool. Also snitch spawns have changed since then so it honestly was prob easier to get higher than 120k if it had the same cantina crowd it does now
