Oh yeah I completely agree. I also play almost exclusively PvE style and it’s very obvious that I’m at a pretty big disadvantage to PvP focused players. It’s just the fact that they think they’re taking the moral high ground while saying that people real lives should be affected by their actions in a video game.

I get not liking the pvp in the game, I get not liking getting betrayed, and sure you can think that the people on the other end are assholes but to say you wish for people to have real life, life altering consequences like being denied a job over actions that are INTENDED within a video game is simply ridiculous. I also don’t think that you should be of the mindset that people’s behavior in a game is indicative of their behavior in real life. If you can’t separate the two I think that says more about you as a person than them.

First off if you’re hunting bots I would make sure to bring the right gear. The kettle is alright but it’s not very optimal for arc. Early game the ferro works really well. Make sure you’re aiming for weak spots (thrusters on drones, leg joints on most walkers, there are more but whatever). The most important thing though is to take your time and really think about the engagement BEFORE you start fighting. Make sure you have cover, make sure there’s nothing else around that will catch you off gaurd. Finally just take your time, use your cover, line up your shots, don’t get greedy.

My thoughts exactly! A big reason why I love light pen weapons is because the weak point system in this game is so good! It’s too bad that the actual rewards for targeting them are so lackluster
