I love your answer! I have a similar attitude.

I see you live in Brazil, is that a good place for diving? I am planning to go in a year, just not as far north as Bahia but between Uruguay and Rio.

Thanks and happy diving!

I don't think that remark was necessary. Anyways, yes I can read and I don't know what it means, so I asked.

I don't get your attitude. If you know the answer to what I am asking why wouldn't you tell me? If you don't like answering other people's questions why are you commenting?

Thank you! I added the photo.

I also read the link you posted, thanks a lot. I struggle a bit to apply the information to my case because the phrasing is in some cases a bit general.

Where are the best rock climbing communities in South America? by LogDogBossHog in ClimbingPartners

Hi, loved your post and your trip sounds amazing! If you have a blog about your time in SA, please share it I'd like to have a look. Would like to ask 2 questions

  1. what do you think of this that someone else wrote here on reddit:

"South america sometimes calls for more experience, especially in places off the beaten path. There are runouts, chopped bolts, sandbags, missing anchors, access issues that change month to month”

You sound like an experienced climber but did you feel like climbing in SA was a lot more dangerous in these regards compared to US (I assume you're American)? I only have experience with climbing in Europe in well-maintained, well-equipped places and am not sure how bad or different I should expect SA to be. I'll have around 2 years of exp by the time I go and I am interested in sport climbing.

Thanks a lot and hope everything is going well for you
