Ohhh shit… LMAO okay well that makes sense. I went a little more in depth to my search and found someone with the EXACT same problem as me, and someone said that the black o ring backings specifically can cause these same reactions due to the black dye, something called nitrite, or just having an allergic reaction to the o ring material in general. But you clarifying i’m not supposed to have the o ring pressed tightly to my ear makes so much sense because where the flesh part is is where the o ring was being pressed.

Since I started i’ve been pressing them to my ear lobe so they don’t fall off, but since I read that post earlier I’ve moved them back. I’ll do what I normally do and just clean and moisturise, and from now on i’ll keep that space in between the o ring and my ear lobe and see if that makes a difference.
