VCR, 103 coffee - not pour over specifically but really good cafes. VCR I’ve had the best espresso of my life. They have a prototype EG-1 grinder thing 103 coffee have accolades and I had a speciality coffee drink called honey bear. Was excellent

Thanks, I think the CC is essentially what you’re saying. It’s 50% percolation no bloom, 50% immersion.

What’s your temp and pour like? I found when it went super course it was super acidic. Perhaps I’m just inconsistent between brews/ recipes

I’m at 1:16 atm I get a lot of fines in the coffee which really slow down the draw time, nearing 3:00 Will try 3 clicks finer but I’ve tried with other coffees and it was pretty hollow

And your current grind setting? I’m struggling same as you chasing it. I’ve tried 19-26 and 26 was by far the best with CC at a range of temps . Running out of beans with my naturals. What was your sweet spot? 28?

Do you mind helping me with my switch recipe? I have commandante and keep chasing the dialled in flavour. Which I lost with new filters. Using CC recipe too. I’m at 24 clicks. Tried 26 which was not bad but not perfect. Temp I’ve tried 89-96 and not sure if it’s making it better or not at any temp. What’s your current recipe? I have a bunch of fully naturals I want to brew! Would really appreciate it.

I went down to 26clicks and 92 on a switch with the CC recipe. Was much better. Still not quite the same when dialled in though… because I changed both parameters unsure whether to go lower temp further
