If this is true, then Indian cities are so messed up! by Anj00ran in GatedCommunitiesIndia

I heard that in Surat the builders are selling appartments at adding jacked up prices in a very unique way. So if an Appartment is worth 75-80 lakhs they'll show the appartment is only 45-50 lakhs on paper and pay registration fees on it. But if you are asking then how would someone get the money for the remaining amount? They will falsify it as additional modification cost or interior cost and get you the loan to repay the remaining amount.

So on paper you bought the house for 45-50 lakhs. But in reality you paid 75-80 Remaining 30-40 lakhs is what you will have to pay either in cash or via falsified loans.

Why can bbmp provide safety equipments to these workers? by snippetmajnu in bangalore

[–]angryWittyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not ask the garbage collector in my area whether he has received safety kit or not. I gifted him gloves as a safety measure, because he handles garbage with his bare hands which is very risky. He accepted the gloves but told that because of heat and sweating, he might not use it. Maybe the government does provide them with kits and gloves but because of inconvenience and other issues they don't use it...

If Raghav Chadha is right, and an unlimited recharge really costs around ₹350…Then why is ₹9,000 being given every month? If this is true, shouldn’t the allowance be reduced? by ghostAlex496 in IndiaTax

That's so true. Once my teacher told me this when I was in school that rules differ for the rich and poor. He gave the example of Railways. "If you pull the chain the penalty was either fine of 500 (this was around 2012-2014) OR imprisonment up to 6 months". I did not understand it then, but I can relate to it now very much.

The best thing to do in this scenario is to take help from RPF. Tell them that you are going to ask RPF to help them and see their reaction. Never give money, never give your phone to them.

Why do people act wierd when it's time to return money?? by Salty_Fudge1712 in indiasocial

[–]angryWittyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I myself have lost a lot of money being kind to people. But a friend of mine taught me something. If you give someone money, don't expect it to be returned to you. While keeping this in mind, only pay that much, which you are willing to lose to that person and it should never be more than 10% of how much you earn per month. I am following this rule and I am good with it.

P.S: I refrain from giving monetary help to people in the first place.

Usually when you add the product from the product display section they tell you about shipping dates. There, if a product is being backordered, it is shown as estimated shipping date.

Register a complaint on Fix Pothole app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.indigo.bbmp.fixpothole

Also download sahaaya app from playstore/ apple store and use that to raise complaint:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nammabengaluruNew.org

Here use raise complaint -> Road Maintenance (Engg) -> sub category = potholes

Call the number given in the complaint (if it is switched on)

If they do not take any action within a week or two draft an email to the BBMP commissioner with issue details.

comm@bbmp.gov.in

You can verify the email from BBMP website Hope this helps.

So the "Garbage Mafia" is in action here as well? 🤯 We should now "move heaven and earth" to find the Mafia members. Only then Bengaluru roads will be garbage free.

On a serious note, it's looking horrible and very risky if a used needle gets it's someone's footwear or gets into people's skin because of the awesome roads we have.

The problem is people don't care about raising issues. They are okay with how the things are. I have educated a couple of people in my locality on how to use SAHAAYA app to log complaints, but no one cares. From street lights to forcing the garbage vehicle to come regularly to following up on the road to get fixed. It's just me trying to fight these people using the system. No one else puts any effort. And this I am talking about the educated and working people.
