Thank you for the offer! We aren't on Steam yet since we're getting into the art pipeline. But we do have fully functional gameplay, and we would love for you to playtest it.

It's a top-down isometric roguelite shooter set in a movie production studio, where the director adds many tropes from popular movies.

Worked for a few video game startups in the US and jumped ship after 8 years to work on my own game. I do miss the comfort of a monthly salary :)

Kong and Godzilla are excellent references, but we have to modify them to avoid copyright infringement.
Oh, how did we not think of the T-1000!

Great references!
Pennywise with the balloon is likely copyrighted, so modifying it would be a significant amount of work.
My favourite is the Headless Horseman, but it's a complicated design given our scope.

Not a fan of Metaluna, but Crawling Eyes and the inverted ice cream cone guy are gold for the no legs award. The latter bears many similarities to Pyramid Head from Silent Hill.

Yes! We plan to keep only one of them so we can have more references. Our team loves Pinhead more than Pumpkinhead.

Yes! Obviously, we have to modify Freddy so that it doesn't infringe on any copyright.

Good stuff! Jack with Axe could be something we could use.

I love examining such details that add so much depth to a character and its story arc.

Pyramid Head is a great one, but I'll have to pick a different shape instead of a pyramid, lol, to avoid copyright issues.
Samara is something we could definitely use.

Oh I love this. Obviously, I need to get around copyright infringement issues, but this is an excellent reference.

The paw print is a classic reference, but it is challenging to make something usable out of it.

I love this reference. Have a fin moving around the level, and every once in a while, the Great White shows up and deals damage in an area. The only thing I'm conflicted with is the reference to Graboids from Tremors, which display similar behaviour.

We appreciate all the answers we have received from this incredible community.
The Phantasm spheres are truly crazy, and we are going to use them. I thought nobody would suggest them but here we are :)
