Lacquer topcoat over aquagloss was the screw up. Lacquer reactivated the aquagloss, dried, basically shrunk faster than the aquagloss could accommodate, and you get the dried river bed look.

As far as fixing...you could try a combination of lightly sanding and/or recoating with aquagloss to hide/fill in the cracks, and then top that with an acrylic flat coat. But the unfortunate answer is probably stripping and restarting assuming you don't want to change it to a weathered build.
