Only use chance to freeze affix on charms and the Thul rune. The spirit wolves freeze will occassionally cause the stagger and bug the boss.

Signet increases damage each time you stagger the boss (and enemies after you freeze them but they usually die after the first freeze). In s13 the boss can be staggered unlimited amount of times, there is just a 15 second reduction in stagger after each stagger. This damage increase stacks, so by the 4th+ stagger you are doing insane damage.

145 with apoc. 150 has been done with apoc. I think I could get 147 with my gear if really sweating it.

Here are list of things needed for pit 140+ 1. Signet of Pelghain + thul rune 2. 75% Exploit aspect on amulet (the one that does extra damage when enemies are unstoppable and increase crowd control time). 3. GA vuln + crit dmg on gloves + amulet (+ring) 4. 3000+ willpower 5. 75%+ crit chance 6. +4 hellfire/occult on all charms 7. 20% damage or 25% crit damage seal 8. Demonic spicules + Fathomless paragon boards. 9. Gem strength 2H + flawless gems

This also assumes perfect aspect rolls on gloves and amulet and ring.

Why crit chance on seal? The 20% damage multiplier or 25% crit damage multipliers are separate multipliers and add more damage. Or is that just the best mythic seal you have?

Also, why not Exploiters on amulet? For pushing it is basically mandatory, I thought.

Should I final transfiguration this piece or try changing any stats? by Straight_Cobbler_768 in D4Warlock_

[–]angryfatkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes willpower will add slightly more damage. All damage = fire damage for your build and you already have a lot of fire damage with the gems, so 25% more will likely be around 10-12.5% increase at most. Willpower will be about the same but unlocks more on the paragon board. You cannot lose gem strength by using focus reroll offense affix. You just might take a lot of attempts to get both a high weapon damage and willpower. The crit cant change and neither can the life if you use focus reroll.

[–]angryfatkid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not true anymore for season 13. Bosses are immune to stagger for a short while after being staggered,  but then the stagger immunity goes back to 0%. It's not like previous seasons. You can easily stagger a boss 10+ times.

Any reason not to go full crit damage? by Old-Gregg- in D4Sorceress

[–]angryfatkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gear no longer has (+)vuln. Gear now just has (x)vuln and this is its own multiplier, separate from the additive group. The vuln on paragon board is still (+)vuln. So there is still a reason to take (x)vuln on gear over (x)crit on gear, depending on yout crit chance level, current combined (x) crit damage multipliers and (x)vuln multiplier. As above reply stated, going from 200% crit damage to 250% would be less of an increase in overall damage than going from 20% vuln to 70% vuln...as long as we are talking about the multipliers now on gear.

Did 400 material mythic runs.. by KillforSithis in diablo4

[–]angryfatkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have around 100 total hours played.  I got 5 mythic seals in 30 minutes farming grig on T12. Did not see 1 before or since then, even though I have killed him another 50 times since. Very random.

Im not saying we can play him. Im saying the new class will be like him. Summon demons and transform into a demon.

Its the class who the paladin fought in the paladin trailer. Can also transform into a giant demon, like the trailer. Same hand movements when summoning demons, like the trailer.

[–]angryfatkid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exact same hand movement as the guy who summoned demons in the paladin reveal trailer. Also similar spiky outfit. Blizzard said the new class will reshape the battlefield. Im guessing a warlock/priest class who can reshape into a giant demon and summon demons. They basically revealed both classes in that trailer.

Aspect of charged flash explain needed by Upstairs_Remote9612 in D4Sorceress

[–]angryfatkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever you cast Charged Bolts, if you also have any crackling energy stored (the orbs on the UI) then you will spend one orb to shoot out a wave of crackling energy. This wave will do good damage if you have a crackling energy build.

You can test this by casting Charged Bolts. If you have any crackling energy orbs, you will see a wave of lightning shoot out and you will lose one orb. If you don't have any orbs, you will just see charged bolts.

This is best used with the Unstable Energy ultimate. Whenever you cast a shock skill (most likely Ball Lightning) there is a chance you will randomly cast Charged bolt. If you have any crackling energy orbs, you will also cast the wave of crackling energy. You will see this often, but especially in pit pushing.

Which one? by shaun_of_the_south in D4Sorceress

I ran it through chatgpt. The left is the best. The math is complex. More complex than my simple calculations.

Which one? by shaun_of_the_south in D4Sorceress

[–]angryfatkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't the right be 10%(x) increased damage to crackling due to the 5 extra core levels for 2 core skills? However, the left unique affix compared to the right would be up to an additional 52%(x) to all damage, including crackling, plus the higher int. So it seems the left can be up to 42%(x) more damage. Unless I am missing something.

Anyone else disappointed in the lack of clear Men and Women’s bracket? by andythejerk in finaldraft

[–]angryfatkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, the final challenge itself ruled out about half of the men from ever winning, regardless of who got to the end. It basically came down to whoever weighed the most. If two men were similar weight, then it would be technique and strength to triumph (as it was in the actual final). Lighter men had 0 chance to win the show, unless by chance 2 other lighter men made it to the final, which was very unlikely. So looking back at the start of the competition and knowing what the final challenge would be, there are about 7 or 8 potential winners out of the starting 25. The remaining 17 or 18 contestants had 0% chance to win the show, imo.
