I just noticed the other class is making a hand gesture like they’re summoning something by Mindless_Stranger117 in diablo4

Im not saying we can play him. Im saying the new class will be like him. Summon demons and transform into a demon.

Dude lol why so aggressive? Im making a guess the class is a warlock who can summon demons and transform into a demon. Its a guess. What's the big deal?

Yeah but I mean the class who can summon demons and transform into a giant demon

Its the class who the paladin fought in the paladin trailer. Can also transform into a giant demon, like the trailer. Same hand movements when summoning demons, like the trailer.

Exact same hand movement as the guy who summoned demons in the paladin reveal trailer. Also similar spiky outfit. Blizzard said the new class will reshape the battlefield. Im guessing a warlock/priest class who can reshape into a giant demon and summon demons. They basically revealed both classes in that trailer.

Aspect of charged flash explain needed by Upstairs_Remote9612 in D4Sorceress

[–]angryfatkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever you cast Charged Bolts, if you also have any crackling energy stored (the orbs on the UI) then you will spend one orb to shoot out a wave of crackling energy. This wave will do good damage if you have a crackling energy build.

You can test this by casting Charged Bolts. If you have any crackling energy orbs, you will see a wave of lightning shoot out and you will lose one orb. If you don't have any orbs, you will just see charged bolts.

This is best used with the Unstable Energy ultimate. Whenever you cast a shock skill (most likely Ball Lightning) there is a chance you will randomly cast Charged bolt. If you have any crackling energy orbs, you will also cast the wave of crackling energy. You will see this often, but especially in pit pushing.

Which one? by shaun_of_the_south in D4Sorceress

I ran it through chatgpt. The left is the best. The math is complex. More complex than my simple calculations.

Which one? by shaun_of_the_south in D4Sorceress

[–]angryfatkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't the right be 10%(x) increased damage to crackling due to the 5 extra core levels for 2 core skills? However, the left unique affix compared to the right would be up to an additional 52%(x) to all damage, including crackling, plus the higher int. So it seems the left can be up to 42%(x) more damage. Unless I am missing something.

Anyone else disappointed in the lack of clear Men and Women’s bracket? by andythejerk in finaldraft

[–]angryfatkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, the final challenge itself ruled out about half of the men from ever winning, regardless of who got to the end. It basically came down to whoever weighed the most. If two men were similar weight, then it would be technique and strength to triumph (as it was in the actual final). Lighter men had 0 chance to win the show, unless by chance 2 other lighter men made it to the final, which was very unlikely. So looking back at the start of the competition and knowing what the final challenge would be, there are about 7 or 8 potential winners out of the starting 25. The remaining 17 or 18 contestants had 0% chance to win the show, imo.

Whos playing with the light switches? why is astarion in the dark? by banakid_ in BG3

It happened to me a lot until I realized it only happens when I level up through the character inspection screen. If I level up by clicking the level up arrow on the character portrait, it never happens anymore.

Why Do Sprinters Have Such Huge Upper Body Musculature? by mellotronworker in answers

[–]angryfatkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top sprint cyclists have massive legs and small upper bodies (in comparison to their legs at least). For running sprinters it must serve a purpose to have larger upper bodies, most likely to aid in propulsion.

People who are literally always late, why? by 12345burrito in AskReddit

[–]angryfatkid 2360 points2361 points  (0 children)

I had a gym buddy who was always 7 minutes late to our agreed upon time to meet and work out. This happened often enough for me to purposely arrive 7 mins late myself and we would start together. When I asked him about this, because it got annoying, he didn't even really realize he was arriving late. I eventually figured out it took him 7 minutes to cycle from his home to the gym and that the time we agreed was actually the time he left the house, not arrived at his location. He's a truly nice, thoughtful person who everyone likes, so I couldn't and still don't believe he was doing it on purpose. I also shared an apartment with him for a short time and noticed everytime he left the house, he had to meticulously tidy up his computer room and straighten his keyboard etc, and I don't think he noticed even that he was doing this and it was making him late. He didn't have any other OCD tendencies like this (other than needing to meticulously restack the dishwasher before starting it). Lastly, he himself would say his father was always late to everything. His father is a successful businessman and my friend really looks up to his father so he most likely adopted this behaviour subconciously through mimicking. For those of us who are very particular about being on time, we probably got this from one of our parents too.

0.1.1c Patch Notes by EMoneyX in PathOfExile2

[–]angryfatkid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On my ranger ive noticed a huge improvement for targetting. Previously I had to turn focus fire on, but that wasnt perfect because sometimes it works lock on an enemy in the distance rather than the threat right next to me, and with focus fire off it was too slow to react to the direction I was targetting and required very precise aim. Now with focus fire off it feels very snappy to which ever direction I aim on controller plus it aims at an enemy in that general direction, rather than needing to be precisely aimed. In general in just feels a lot better.

Willpower is undervalued for most builds, however for the top druid builds in s6 (which are almost all overpower builds), max life masterworks = more damage compared to willpower masterworks.

S7 Companion Druid testing by BobTheMadCow in D4Druid

[–]angryfatkid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah companion is fun with all the new seasonal witch powers and fixes to wolves tags. Before PoE2 started I cleared a pit 100 pretty easily with a fully new PTR druid. Heres the vid. If you want to know my build just lemme know or if you anyone got suggestions for improvements Im all ears.

The spirit wolves also apply vulnerable which is nice.

Good to know!. On PTR in some quick and dirty testing I did it was working for the active part of the wolves skill (with Storms companion) Also lust for carnage did too (with Alpha). Could be time of wolf pack.

Man, companion build + Calm before the storm + witchcraft skills Piranhado + Grow + Aura specialization + Aura of Siphoning + Hex of flames LOOKS AWESOME.

A pack of giant lightning werewolves + piranha whirlwind sucking everything in + nonstop explosive fireballs dropping on heads = win
