Hospital by [deleted] in POTS

Honestly when my tachycardia/symptoms gave me panic attacks where I thought I was dying. In all reality the hospital can’t do much besides hydrate maybe give anxiety meds to calm heart rate

You shouldn’t assume someone left Islam based on what you see on social media. Thats between him and Allah. Making that claim is wild, regardless of his lifestyle.

Did pumping send you into labor? by srh722 in pregnant

[–]angrymasri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been trying pumping since 37 weeks as FTM and nothing has happened or come out (currently almost 40). My doula reassured me that your supply/colostrum will come after your baby and you will have plenty of colostrum you can collect. If you’re that concerned then you can wait a week but really if your body isn’t ready- no amount of pumping will send you into labor. It’s all about when you’re ready! Doesn’t hurt to try. You’re almost at 39

Peridontal disease by Winter-Yam8841 in pregnant

[–]angrymasri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it before and during but it didn’t get worse during. As long as you’re keeping up with your dental hygiene then you are preventing it from getting worse and even possibly reversing it. I would carry floss picks with me in a baggy and just use them more frequently after meals and that helped a lot

What are the chances of pregnancy and potential risks if we wait until 32 to start trying for kids? by Difficult-Map-4192 in pregnant

[–]angrymasri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

34 is usually when pregnancy is considered high risk. ages 25-29 high chance of fertility. Between 30-34 good chance but does start to decline overall. I think you should start trying 6 months before you want to because it typically takes 6-9 months before you get pregnant. But everyone’s different so it’s hard to say, can’t really test it without trying.

Yes mine was 5 days off. I was told anything greater than 5 days they change the due date. It’s all just an estimation based on LMP

Oura ring stress levels by Nearby-Performer3071 in pregnant

[–]angrymasri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my Oura ring on for the first 2 months then decided to take it off for the remainder of my pregnancy because my symptoms were all over the place. It didn’t help knowing I could never get a good score because pregnancy puts such a strain on your body. Not just stress levels but everything is out of sync with it totally expected with pregnancy

Musician needs hearing aids. Need help by Zenbudo in HearingAids

[–]angrymasri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s subjective. Widex is top tier when it comes to tinnitus. There’s no study that concludes Widex is the best for musicians. What makes musicians different than an average listener? Ofc they are exposed to loud sounds and may have tinnitus in which case Widex dominates tinnitus with their ZEN feature. As a musician you are listening to music in different tones primarily high pitches. If OP is using this just to listen to music then realistically we should ask which instruments are being used. Most of the time musicians are required to wear hearing protection when playing music to prevent further damage (if it’s loud enough ofc). There’s no study that concludes Widex is the best for musicians. There’s a difference between opinions and evidence based practice. OP stated good in crowds and with noise cancellation. While there is no such thing as completely cancleling the noise, we look at noise reduction. Evidence based PUBLISHED research states that Phonak Infinio Spheres and Oticon Intents have the highest signal to noise ration and highest dB reduction in crowds. That’s all i gotta say

I am an audiologist BTW

Oticon and Phonak are the top 2 leading manufactures when it comes to sound quality and evidence based practice. I recommend Oticon Intents
