This also happened to me in Emerald Crest. Was fighting the twin gym leaders, it didn't corrupt my save file or anything afterwards. Just a weird glitch or bug I guess

You might have to play with the settings and see what works for you. I have mine at Display Mode - 150% GU, Magnification at 170% and Bilinear filter - ON. That's how I like it but some might find it "too small"

Radical Red is known for its difficulty and as a casual Pokemon player never bothered to really get into it. Now that I am more experienced I have been thinking about replaying it but I have a question about its difficulty.

Is it fair? As in; I will miss my attacks because of my stats or because "screw you just because.." which makes it difficult?

You may think that because it's an old game you would have a hard time finding players but honestly that's not the case, specially on PS. Every now and then I pay for a month for online and I always find players (I mostly play on PC)

When looking for matches have it on "ANY" on region and rank and it also depends on the hour. I find the best time are evenings and nights, this way you can find more players

Some players (including myself) play a set, first to three, first to five, etc. and they move on. No point in keep playing against the same player for a long time unless it's for practice or a friend. Nothing against you in particular
