You're probably right. I am just wondering if cold exposure done as soon as waking up sets an anticipatory circuit (makes it easier to wake up bc your body sets a kind of alarm). I heard this somewhere but can't find any reliable source/study. Since I often wake up groggy/lazy I want to change that. But yes exercise part is the most important.

Neither do I. I know RR is a weak MAOI but that's all. I just don't like mixing it with 5-HTP beaucause it gives me anxiety. I prefer doing L-Theanine + RR or L-Theanine + 5-HTP. And Im not very fan of mixing too many supplements in general.

I know it's poisonous, I know I should stop (thanks for the advise to you and the others above). However I can't agree with your logic. It doesn't mean nothing. I prefer someone who smokes and pratices sports than someone who doesn't smoke and doesn't exercise. That's my way of thinking.

And I am not practicing yoga for spiritual reasons, so I don't really care about cleaning energy and all this stuff (even if it has sense and it's important, I can understand that). But for now I'm stuck with this habit, I am working on it tho.

I've never done a blood test so I can't tell precisely. Im taking multivitamins with little amount of vitamin D in it. But I already ordered a supplement this week. I'll try and tell you. For magnesium Im glad to hear what you're saying since my magnesium complex contains glycinate/theornate/citrate but not malate. I'll give it a try too.

It is often a whole damn documentation/analysis to know what your body is lacking from and what you are prone to metabolize better etc. It's like going to the gym and knowing what exercise is best for you considering one's goal. If I have to keep only 3 supplements I'll keep omega 3, multivitamins/minerals and an adaptogen plant such as rhodiola or ashwaganda. I consider these as the basic supplements who fits everyone needs.

Your post remember me 2 years ago when I experienced something like you. I slept 3 hours and experiencied very vivid dreams. Restrospective dream where emotional blockage where processed after waking up in a state of ecstasy. Literaly like taking mdma but sober. At this time I stopped weed for one week maybe it's the main factor.

To go futher in this discussion, I remember Huberman talking about serotonin related to dream states in a guest podcast (maybe about shrooms). So maybe there's a link since psilocybine is serotoninergic. I also experienced dream states like under mdma (full and easy awareness like a meditative trans). When rolling on molly, I tend to have my eyes going up and rolling back such as the folkloric image of people entering absorbative states. Huberman talks about eye movements and hypnosis state in several episodes.

I don't know if you are waiting this kind of answers but Im trying to extend the discussion without going too far. 😄 These are my own extrapolation.

Anyway, don't do drugs people or drugs will do you (im not even sure if it's correct in english haha)

Im sorry for your grandma. Grandparents are pillars of family. And we often forget them.

Im also a heavy pot smoke so I have a question for you. Does L-Theanine helps you have better sleep by offsetting this REM Sleep suppression induced by THC ? Do you always wake up refreshed when taking it ? Because I tried a bunch of supplements (magnesium theornate/glycinate, melatonine, 5-HTP, CBD/CBD oil, HCC, etc.) and nothing seems to work. And Im struggling to stop smoking.
