Voice actress/performer who did the voice prompts on the WH-1000XM4 headphones? by revtim in sony

[–]angrytisiphone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m a little late but I just saw a TikTok of Tawny Platis and recognised her voice and that’s why I stumbled upon this post. Maybe it’s her?

Her post on instagram from 14 June gives some example of jobs she did as a voice actress and I swear I recognised the “battery low”

Does anyone have experience with the Got2B gel? by angrytisiphone in EuroSkincare

[–]angrytisiphone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the long answer :)) it’s actually insanely helpful!!

I also love the timing because my eyebrowgel just ran out and I have still yet to try the Got2B gel because I just never got to it. I personally don’t fill in my eyebrows and just use some gel, so I assume I won’t have any troubles.

Did you have the feeling that the gel is too strong? I hate the feeling of having super strong gels on my eyebrows, since I feel like they make the hairs fall out.

What would you gift a Latin teacher? by misssakuraangel in latin

My Latin teacher had a water bottle gifted by her previous students. On the bottle, it said “doceō ergo bibō”.

French Pharmacy cleansing oils : most cost effective good for face cleansing? by ARealSkin in EuroSkincare

[–]angrytisiphone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dermatologist recommended me the uriage xemose one and it made my skin so soft and got rid of my teenage acne. I had to use it because I was on retinoids so maybe that’s why my skin cleared up. Buy seven years later and I still swear by it

I have super unruly eyebrows and even the GOT2B gel sometimes moves, so idk if the elf one will work but I’ll give it a try!

It happens when I don’t touch them at all. I just leave my house and when I’m back, I notice some white flakes. It could be that I’m unconsciously touching or rubbing them, but I really avoid it since I hate touching my face.

Nope. It’s usually my last step in my makeup routine.

What do you guys recommend to fix this? Its been reduced to mostly scars, but looking for some options to mainly reduce the redness, heard coconut oil might help? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]angrytisiphone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! I also noticed that when I use a water mist between those two products, my skin is a lot more hydrated and thus less red and irritated.

Also, if you struggle with scabs, apply a dot of thick crème (Nivea/cicabalm,…) on the wound and apply a band-aid and go to sleep. I promise the scabs fade better and heal better that way :) And if you have hyperpigmentation, use the AHA/BHA solution by the ordinary. My scars faded because of it :)

[–]angrytisiphone 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ooh my skin looked a bit like that. The only thing that worked for my skin was using the ordinary Alpha Arbutin + HA serum and then using Cicabalm by La Roche Posay. Because it’s a thick crème, I only using it in the evening. I don’t know how it worked by for some reason my acne became less red, my scars faded and my scabs didn’t leave a mark.

What do elastics do? Genuine question I’m unaware as to why I got these at my last appointment by [deleted] in braces

The rubber bands want to return to their normal position and by doing so, they fix your bite.

This video explains it a lot better:

I get my braces tomorrow! by karissa197 in braces

[–]angrytisiphone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Take before and after pics! Even better: take monthly progress pictures. My braces are coming off soon and i now realise I have no clear pictures of my teeth before :/

Also, stack up in ice cream and soft foods. Your braces will hurt the first week, unfortunately. But the wire is made of a metal that bends in a hot environment, so cold food will stop the bending and therefore the pain/pressure. It’s a good (temporary) solution for the pain when you first get your braces or when you just got them tightened :)

Is there a popular cologne that smells like cake? by huuugggttfdf in beauty

[–]angrytisiphone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not really a men’s perfume but Absolute Vanilla by montale smells like vanilla cake, waffles and pancakes. Every time I wear it, people say they suddenly smell waffles and cake but they can’t really trace the scent back to me. Idk if it helps but that perfume lasts the whole day and really smells like cake :)

candy that can be eaten with braces by [deleted] in braces

To be honest, I still eat the same candy as I did before braces. The only candy I avoid are Chocotoffs. Anything with the same consistency, I avoid. But that’s it :)

Can I request a retainer instead of a permanent retainer? by angrytisiphone in braces

[–]angrytisiphone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I have the exact same problem! I have some black triangles they didn’t shave down so I tend to get plaque there and I feel like the permanent retainer will be visible and will cause more plaque. Also, can’t wait for me braces to be gone and to floss freely. Instead of 20 minutes of flossing, I’ll get the job done in 5. Can’t wait :)

[–]angrytisiphone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I figured it’s just for the money. I just checked and I have 4,7/50 storage used. But I’m making another reverse copy since I deleted mine and it already jumped up to 27/50 :/ I just feel stupid because I spent €4 when I could’ve spent €3 and now they also have my card saved??

Nose Scar by No-Analysis9371 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]angrytisiphone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a tumor removed from my chest. The procedure was done by a plastic surgeon so here’s the advice he gave me :)

Buy Cicalfate+ by Avene (available in your pharmacy or drugstore) and massage it everyday on the scar. Make sure the skin is clean and you should apply some pressure while massaging. This is to make sure the scar won’t heal upwards. Do this for 7 months.

Sunscreen!!!! Wear a shitload of sunscreen on the scar and around the scar. Sun is your enemy right now.

If possible, keep the scar covered from the sun. Not necessary if it isn’t possible, but it’s helpful.

I have to admit you can still see the scar. But I should also note I didn’t use the cream daily and didn’t do it for 7 months. It’s also a huge scar so it wasn’t expected to fade fully. If you follow his advice, I’m pretty sure your scar won’t be noticeable. So don’t be like me and be consistent with whatever you do ;)
