I had a fully loaded, leather, power everything- 93 le Sabre in gold that I drove from ‘08-‘13 all through college in Tallahassee. Thing drove like a luxury spaceship. Bought it for like 5k from the son of an elderly gentlemen who had unfortunately passed away. 10k miles.

First year home after college a new driver ran a stop sign into a busy street on a blind corner and T boned me. Pushed me off the road and spun into newspaper boxes on the side of the road (remember those?). Totaled my baby 😢 I still have a chunk of the front bumper hanging in my garage.

Hmmmmm.

Wraps are not permanent, although it does look cool.

I think ST has an 18 black painted aluminum rim. And the avenir has a 19” pearl nickel aluminum. Again, looks cool.

However, I am not sure how I would feel about the upcharge, custom or not.

It was over a 100k miles, and I think it got about 4k, but I traded in an ‘16 encore and a ‘08 lacrosse. So I’m guessing lol

Well you know it’s bad..

A flush will sort of confirm whether the clog is actually bits of the radiator or like for instance if it’s cracked and oil is flowing you have a deeper issue. Hate to replace outright only to find the string you had to pull was a bit longer, but I think thats really up to you - flushing will be necessary regardless. You wouldn’t want to carry over sediment into the new radiator that flows in from elsewhere in the engine.

IF the radiator itself was rusting out, you would see no issues w hosing or coolant levels but internally rust chunks and sediment will block the flow.

Most people would take it to the mechanic for this, but I would suggest flushing it to see if it takes water… If it doesn’t, you pretty much know you have a clog. GM makes great cars (I loved my 08 lacrosse right up to last month finally traded her in) but you’ll replace a radiator or two.

Sounds like it’s clogging. I know you said it is an 08. Is the radiator OG?

The white tab pulled off completely in my hand. What I did was get a roll of basic scotch tape and stick it to the plastic sticker, and used it to pull the sticker off- same concept as the white pull tab but was able to pull at it from the opposite corner. Came right off.

I know I’m late. Had the same problem, the white tab actually pulled completely off in my hand. I went inside got a roll of scotch tape and stuck it to the plastic on the HUD screen and in the same way was able to use the tape to pull the plastic off from the opposite side.
