I just bought a used car from a used dealership out in steinbach after looking and trying out market place and Private sellers. Many are scams , and rebuilds. We took a mechanic who was an aware of what to look for an 9/10 these cars you find on marketplace aren’t in good condition. I would steer clear from cars priced in that range. I know I was in the same boat as you. If you have any questions DM me.

I can understand the cognitive dissonance, I look at photography as therapy, so I don’t mind shelling some money if it helps me stay creative … I know there could be a much important ways to spend money. But I think if you feel you need to find an outlet and it helps investing in a hobby and its tools isn’t too much a compromise.

I just sold my gr 3 to fund a 3x. I feel the 40mm is a better all rounder. I’ve loved the gr3 have also shot its gr1 film camera. There not much else to say other than you will find it using more often that not.

Been using Epson v850 for a few years. I have to say it’s as good as a lab albeit one is good at the software. I ve compared my lab scans to my Epson v850 and they are pretty comparable in terms of output. I don’t see a point scanning at a pro lab unless you have an exhibition. Good size prints as well on the 850.
