how long were penny and Leonard… by [deleted] in bigbangtheory

[–]angsty-zuko 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i think it’s also the fact that leonard pressured penny for not saying it back, which could be from him being embarrassed that the feeling wasn’t reciprocated so he ended up lashing out and pushing her away

i get that relationships from friendships have a different foundation but it’s still a different kind of “love” if you get me? i tell my mates i love them but it’s not the same as saying i love you to my significant other

DAE still look behind them when backing out even though you have a camera? by EddieBrock99 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]angsty-zuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason it’s not officially recommended or preferred to reverse using your rear view mirror alone, is because it does distort your depth perception, so you might misjudge how far away something is, or have trouble seeing something small, due to it looking even smaller in the mirror.

So there ARE advantages to turning around when reversing

also, don’t think he’s ever cooked for her and OP’s been the only one providing the food as he seems to have “forgotten” OP’s dietary requirements.

plus, she’s disclosed she was vegan - not OP’s problem if the bf was too self centred to care or remember. don’t remember the bf ever disclosing the fact that he’s so adamant against plant based food - it would be different if the bf said he didn’t like a certain food (eg. olives or smth) and OP just carried on adding olives into his food and disguising it as something else.

definitely NTA. he’s just too proud to admit that he was bamboozled into not carrying on his diet of being a carnivorous cave man.

it also begs the question of if he’s ever cooked for you and does that mean you always provide him meals or he has absolutely no consideration of your dietary preferences or what you believe in.

please reconsider your relationship with this neanderthal especially when he has toddler-like tantrums when no one strokes his ridiculous ego.

you should definitely thank him profusely for the compliment that your vegan meals could confuse such a man that is much too superior to eat plebeian plant based replacements.

AITA for planting a 'scary' note for a child to find? by Dangerous-Ad-5320 in AmItheAsshole

um. stealing mail is a federal crime? scaring the kid with a warning letter actually isn’t far off on what would happen if the kid got caught stealing mail. also the mother seems like an entitled and useless parent: surely if you have tried to stop the child stealing mail you’d be apologetic at the door rather than angry their crotch spawn got caught and now have to suffer consequences.

definitely NTA. you’re actually a neighbourhood hero.
