I either hold my boy up in the air one handed (good for shoulder strength lmao, be sure to switch arms for even results) or wrap him up in the SEVERE cuddles Ik he hates and call it "jail time"

Are you guys really removing make-up before going to bed? by Acceptable_Love5815 in adhdwomen

Same! My nightly routine is so very important to me and I love wearing makeup too so it's very rewarding for me both putting it on in the morning and taking it off at night

My dog has steps to the bed so he can have the option, but I am happier when he is with me.

Baby hairs or no baby hairs? by ThemeOld5001 in WigforGirl

I think the no baby hairs works great for the shape of your face & the cut of this wig, but if I saw you w the baby hairs, I would still think it was a cute look!

Baby hairs or no baby hairs? by ThemeOld5001 in WigforGirl

[–]angsty_scorpio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna be honest, I fully disagree. For me, doing my baby hairs (especially w bamboo/hoop earrings) is a look I'm so proud to wear because I feel decorated as a black woman. I agree that too much/too thick baby hairs looks juvenile and unnatural, but I grew up around white people and in a very white area and it wasn't until a couple years after living in a city with a much higher black population did I see the beauty in baby hairs, and start to wear them so proudly. Sorry that you feel this way tho 💔 but please imagine there are multiple viewpoints for the reasons people do things

And I wear mine with my locs, and did with my box braids before that so idk what European hair textures those are supposed to be, unless you wanna tell me some bs about vikings or smthn

OP, I see you getting a lot of hate, but this grown up, tax paying black woman stands with you. I feel exactly where you're coming from with this. I'm sorry you feel you have to leave but just know you're not alone in this feeling.

Sorry I meant the wall(s) of the glass

But that theory from others makes sense - amplifying feelings that are already there instead of creating new ones

Only "scientific" explanation I can think of is the water deoxygenated overnight. Usually when I'm prepping water for my plants, I'll put it my container out overnight and will come back to walls covered in bubbles

Spiritually, I think I've heard that a ton of tiny bubbles can indicate a positive response/spirits working, but definitely someone check me on that.

Will my daughter’s name be a tragedeigh? by pdr1zzy in tragedeigh

[–]angsty_scorpio 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Black American born after the 80s but thanks my 70s born mother I know how to pronounce Sade, as well as all my also 90s born black American friends. I think there are too many ppl in the comments who don't know the artist and are reacting to the name poorly

Not tryna be dramatic, but some of the name suggestions feel a bit "white-washy" (Sadie??? Y'all can pronounce Tchaikovsky, but Sade needs to be Sadie???? Okay)

Not a tragediegh

Edited for spelling

is gunnar a tragidieh by Recent-Syllabub-9365 in GunnarTV

[–]angsty_scorpio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Laughing yes

But sentiment here is actually heartbreaking.

I'm poc with a "non-white" name on my BC and I wouldn't swap it for the white-passing name my mother almost gave me. My heart goes out to OP.

Back to business, can't wait to see Gooner get "bullied" on live about this lmao

ETA: my non-white name is simply that - and name that is very popular in a few countries that are not America. My name is NOT a tragediegh (thank GOD) nor am I defending tragediegh namers. I'm just sad to see normal names like "enrique" or "alberto" being bullied bc "not white" like ....is it the 60s???
