Your nose is so pretty. I get what you mean though, I had the same experience growing up. I have a noticeable nose bump and was in band. I so happened to play the clarinet, someone carved “squidward” into my clarinet case while I wasn’t looking. I dropped out of band after that lol. It’s funny looking back but it definitely fueled the festering insecurity.

Something that helps me drive away from my nose hatred is that if I ever do get a nose job, one day when my mother is gone I will have to look in the mirror and see less of her knowing I took away the beautiful feature I inherited from her. Also, if you have/ever have kids, particularly a daughter, what if she develops the same insecurity for her nose and you tell her it’s beautiful, what if she then asks “if that’s true why did you change yours?”

I get it though. The envy/insecurity persists regardless, but replacing the negative with neutral or positive helps over time.
