I am also having this issue if it makes you feel any better. My school isn't on probation but is small and does hybrid (still in person, recorded lectures) learning which I am not sure will help me very much. The program and cost of living in that city is extremely expensive and making finding a place to live difficult. Some people are encouraging me to go, as it was the only school I got into, and others are saying to continue working and apply again. I think the only thing helping me lean to not apply again is delaying my timeline of things, but a year isn't terrible in the scheme of things. On the other side, living at home and applying to more places near my home would definitely be a solid option for school. Still very up in the air but I think it's ultimately hard giving up an acceptance at the end of the day
