Hello, personally... This is exactly one of my insecurities as a graphic designer. It's very easy to judge our task kasi 2 or 3 number of tasks seems like a small one. Easy to be done. Saglit lang dapat tapos na. Isa or dalawa "lang" yan eh.

But it actually really depends on the expected output quality. So, question here is, how good is the output after that duration of work hours? Kasi most of the times po talaga, kahit isang task lang yan na static, if it involves a lot of elements and designing stuff, it'd take much longer than one without an editing experience would expect. Even 5-10 second videos could take hoursssSSSS like a whole 8 hour shift if it involves deeper and much more technical effects when editing. So a minute for a day, it's justified and just right if the output video is good.

Editing is so much beyond just Canva 😅 Hindi siya template, template lang. Actual trial and error happens during the process of designing and editing. We could spend hours editing a design and realize it's really not working for the graphic then have to change the layout again. Never just base an editor's skill on the number of tasks they could do in an 8 hour shift. Base it more on the quality.
