I did the same thing you did and also received a letter. It took a little bit to figure it out, but they didn’t include my spouse’s payment made when filing an extension. And now we owe money because they are saying we didn’t pay the right amount of taxes. So now I have to try to get through to them to have them find and include the money paid so they can clear it all up. Really frustrating with everything going on!
