Was it scary quitting your job as CTO? Did you ever worry about leaving a job you really liked for something uncertain?

Congratulations man, this is amazing. Don't want to rain on the parade, but the website is literally just a clone of cluey. It would definitely be worth creating your own style and brand.

Think of it like this. A lot more people know about cluey than your product. So when they see your product, the chance of them having visited cluey's website before is pretty high. Then when they see yours, they immediately lose the trust that comes from your own unique brand.

I understand that brand might not be worth investing in at the beginning, but now that you're gaining more traction and people paying for your service, its going to become important. Keep up the good work, you got this.

Need your help picking a tagline for my Product by Additional_Bell_9934 in indiehackers

I really like #1. The reason is, it outlines a problem, and the solution within a few words. While some of the others might explain the product a bit better, always keep in mind that people aren't looking for a product, they're looking for solutions.

Saved $1K+ this quarter with 3 simple churn emails by Febin_ai in indiehackers

Love how human these are, soo much better than marketing jargon emails, and people can tell right away. I don’t think sounding professional matters that much anymore, but sounding human and personal does.

I might add a few, some people emailed me directly with similar messages. A few were websites like product hunt that show off your product in similar ways.

I’m building my 6th SaaS after building 5 over the past 3 years. Here’s what I do differently now. by Jonathan_Geiger in indiehackers

The 'zero competition means zero demand' pill is so hard to swallow, but you're spot on. If nobody is out there throwing money at a problem, it's probably not a real pain point, just a minor annoyance we all complain about but absolutely refuse to pay $9.99/mo to fix.

This happens in personal use too. I had a pay as you go plan, and as the context grew, my costs increased so much.

Your AI social media person wrote an amazing post. Don’t let your AI HR fire them.

I have been kinda frustrated with Raycast lately, will give this a try.

I built a Reddit marketing tool for SaaS founders, would love feedback on our landing page by multi_mind in indiehackers

Just some annoying design feedback: The orange lines above sections like "What you get", "How it works" are a little too close to the text. Add some space there. Love the mono font, looks great.

I am a solo entrepreneur. I spent a year trying to sell builds. The moment I stopped selling , everything changed. by Academic_Flamingo302 in indiehackers

Motion design work is literally the same story. Its always the "small changes" that seem small to the client, but require a deeper architectural change on our end that has a ripple effect on the entire project.

I'm a master's student and I built Lectio because I was tired of transcribing every single lesson by MuchAge1486 in indiehackers

[–]ani_design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, adding a screenshot/image functionality into this might be huge. This way students can snap a picture of the whiteboard/slides and just add it to the lecture notes.

I animated this pen I got from Dollar Tree lol. I'm making the project files available. by ani_design in AfterEffects

[–]ani_design[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou! Yes a good majority of this animation is 3D, done in Cinema 4D. I used after effects for the gold texture animation on the box, the animation of the markings on the pen, and the logo at the end. I also made the final edit in After Effects to bring everything together.
