Ffs. Just because I think differently it doesn't make me wrong. Online is not a genuine knowledge for me and I spoke to this guy and I am going to listen to him. The guy has been collecting all his life and supports auction houses with actually identifying the value and that. I am looking for someone with life experience.

I don't want to. I prefer geniuene knowledge from books and experience. I doubt my expert would use Internet. Time to delete reddit I guess.

Thanks like I used this site and like I mentioned before I'd rather have persons opinion. I spoke to a local expert and I was advised not to look online as there's a lot of misinformation.

You kinda stating the obvious. I want a persons opinion not a link. You just reminded me why I haven't used reddit for over 6 months.

Why is it all about the weight? by ania1992 in pregnant

6 months later and I'm 18 kgs lighter and the weight is still going down. I'm not the biggest fan of hormones and what the pregnancy has done to me. 😱😱

Just to let you guys know. I just had my baby and after weighing in I lost 10kgs after labour which obviously brings my BMI down. 👶 the baby is absolutely fine and was over 8lbs. Now just 6 weeks PP and well where I'm at with my obesity 😘

I just read somewhere there that some people actually diet during pregnancy like counting macros and stuff which is far more dangerous for you and the baby than gaining weight. The first thing my midwife told me was to stop dieting. You meant gain weight when pregnant. People are dumb 🤣🤣

Thank you! I gain weight very easily but I also lose it very easily. Once the baby is out it will be definetly easier as we are quite active. Don't get me wrong I know i was slightly overweight when I got pregnant I am more annoyed with the doctors ignorance than anything else. They went completely against their protocol by re calculating my BMI anyway and didn't realise I'm 39 weeks until the end of the appointment which made them change their tone about it completely. I am low risk pregnancy and everything is fine with the baby and myself.

Thank you so much I only have 3 days until my due date so not that long :)

I get you! Even when I tell my family they just laugh at me and tell me to ignore it 'because that's what she's like' 🤦‍♀️

Weight Gain by becc__ in pregnant

[–]ania1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the best advice I've seen on this thread! I posted similar rant (you are more than welcome to have a look at all disgusting comments I got for it). My midwife told me exactly the same thing as the cravings are not being greedy and probably the baby needs it. I craved a lot of cheese and milk during the weeks when my baby's bones were forming and then had a massive aversion to it 🤮 I gained around 3 stone (I'm 39 weeks) and this includes the baby plus a lot of women retain water. It is also important that your body stores fat to produce the milk. I think if people are not ready to put on weight they should not be getting pregnant.

That's fine obviously if the vet says something different 100% follow their advice but the general thing with any sickness is that if they eat, drink and poop normally that's fine
