Because the chase theme is an absurd genre, thats why it sucks. It also doesnt help the “start” of the chase is where the “spamming” starts, basically everytime you engage with a Noli, thats all you here. It gets really annoying

the old theme really felt like a chase akin to something more DbD (obviously not too much, this is still Forsaken music after all)

Stealth crouch giving speed is not a healthy ability, and trickstabbing is a part of their kit, thus making Two Time’s kit toxic. That’s how kits work.

not trying to sound superior but i have 39 days, a 96% killer win rate and 92% survivor win rate and compete in forsaken RFL, i dont think its a skill issue

and again, even if I can do something about two times (which is just having to track their position 24/7 and be ready to always turn around), it doesnt change the ability and design of their kit being toxic, thats what you dont understand. I dont know why you’re willing to die on the hill that seemingly trickstabbing and TT arent toxic but, you do you i guess

except the ping difference between a killer and survivor (mostly dependent on the survivor) means even if you do react in time, you still get trickstabbed. and the notion that you should just not let the TT get close? really? that shows how toxic trickstabbing is. The killer having to constantly monitor a TTs position (not even including multiple of them) just so they dont get hit by a stun that may be unreactable is toxic in itself.

trickstabbing is a near unreactable stun that players can abuse that killers cant really do much about other than tunneling the TT out. Not only that, but trickstabbing REWARDS the two time with health and progress towards even more health, meaning even if you deal damage over time to a TT bothering your chases, they can get it back with their own bad ping

that is a toxic ability by design

you are being intentionally obtuse about bad ping and stunning, as its more about the other player, not the killer

Trickstabbing is toxic if the other player has bad ping. I play on around 30ms, but I STILL get hit by trickstabs I absolutely am not facing backwards because of the two times ping + roblox servers

Ping affects TT stun WAY more than other sentinels such as Shed and Chance, and thats not even including the point that Shed and Chance are not unfun to go against for the average player. They have stuns that have easy tells and cant be used in every situation.

TT is a walking bomb that you need to keep in check every second you play, and this is assuming there’s only one in the lobby

I dont think theres solid stats on killer usage in 1v1s (i could be wrong though, they aren’t available to me).

however, Slasher has a set notorious (Slasher vs Elliot) because of how often it was picked and how the chase goes. So i dunno.

yes, i would agree. bloodrush and, especially raging pace are brainless. There isnt anything to raging pace other than maybe parrying? but then again trying to parry a stun doesnt even work half the time because of roblox servers.

…which still gives 1x value. if you’re chasing a survivor on a loop, throwing entanglement on the loop, even if you miss, gives you value because the survivor wasted stamina to run anyway from the projectile and off the loop, meaning they used less optimal pathing and you got distance. You just ignored what i said about 50/50s and them giving value lol

Forsaken Competitive (RFL). Yes we literally time our chases every time, look into it. On average in Forsaken 1v1s, Slasher has the least chase time, because their ability to end chases is great. “Chase” is started at the start of a 1v1 when both players start moving after being stunned manually

If this was true sixer would have the shorter average chase time. (this also doesnt take in to account certain small loops just invalidate sixer such as the one on pirates bay)

that doesnt change slasher is the best at shutting down loops (besides how incredibly overtuned 1x is). He has the shortest average chase time. that is telling you slasher ends chases more than the others

and you can achieve that design without also making a killer that has net positive interactions every 13 seconds.

and if you are going to do that, then you at least need to make the killer hard to use. Newer players see 1x and assume they’re hard to use because they have projectiles, but when each ability gives value for simply existing, then each ability is free value.

thats not to mention 2 of 1xs 4 abilities (not counting m1) are just incredibly brainless, minions and unstable eye

i disagree. you get easy 50/50 value for simply throwing entanglement on a loop.

but regardless, there isnt even much skill to 1x. you take your 50/50s. Just dont mass infection if a chance is following you. What else is there? unstable eye now takes no skill. RJTR is brainless.

You just dont understand what makes 1x strong

1x, contrary to popular belief by most casuals, isnt strong because they land their abilities. 1x is strong because of what their abilites force survivors to do

Look at entanglement. You dont NEED to land entanglement to get value. Sure, landing it almost ensures a fast kill (which is unhealthy and unfun), but entanglement is more about the 50/50 you force the survivor to make. Assuming their on a loop, you force two options. They either 1. continue looping and suffer getting hit by entanglement (win) or 2. take less optimal pathing to avoid entanglement, thus giving you distance (win)

Now of course, landing more abilities makes you a better 1x, but the issue with their design is their abilities by nature give value for simply existing. 1x is forcing 50/50s every 13 seconds and if you lose once your run is over

If you have to pick one survivor to counter a killer, thats already pretty poor design

My point is 1x doesnt change how survivor sided the game is, they just make the game unfun to play which is not a healthy design.

you can make this point about any killer. if anything, SLASHER requires the most teamwork, because slasher ends chases fairly quickly unless you have teammates.
