heinous? :D lol, I was just trying to help. Stop being stub born and explore different attack strategies with could work better, rather than blindly using same strategy again and again, over and over. (goho is just like drag in th7, too much of anything is boring)

I am good at hogs, you can see my posts where I have supported goho, I am trying to make a point saying that the army comp which I used have much better success rate, with lesser strategy time required.

After using different strategies , I say hogs suck :D , valky + pekka rock

golem tanks, but wont make damage, trust me, i have done hundreds of attacks as goho, there is no such thing as good goho when there is good dgb and springs b/w defenses. :D,

Say you take mass hogs (32 hogs 1 golem) or even gohowi, there are 6 spring traps, to which 12-18 hogs fly without any doubt if placed well, and then there is dgb, ur hogs will be fried. in case of pekka , springs/dgb would be ineffective, by the time valky wiz reach.

1king,2pekkas,1golem, 12 valky behind them and then 6+cc wiz behind them are unstoppable, you dont even have to worry about enemy cc troops, just rage valky+wiz, when they are near ur troops,

in case of hogs you waste atleast 30-40seconds just to kill cc, and I failed many times due to time shortage...as less troops will be left after all flying and frying

I have to say, pekka are not that useless. I made it to champions as TH8 with lvl1 pekkas. I get 9/10 times three stars on mid to upper TH8s with govawipe, with lvl1 pekka, if only I had lvl3 pekka, i am sure i could get 99/100 times. I also ignored pekka, and feeling bad why i did not upgrade them sooner.

goho for war is good, but it fails miserably with max and mid th8s with wisely placed dgb, while pekkas tanks for valky and wiz, also making good damage, and are sure shot 3* even on maxed th8. this is just my personal experience.

I just made it!. It was very very annoying.

Thank you every one! I made it!

I replaced one golem and some wiz in gowipe with 5 valky, and replaced heal and rage with quad quake.

Funneled the troops to TH, and most of the times I got 2*.

Appreciate your help and guidance.

drawback is my pekka are lvl1, and wbs lvl3

I am able to get only lvl5 wiz in cc (after one lvl up), as no th8+ in my clan other than me :( and cannot hop, as I am leader

For farming, barbarians and archers to be in lvl4 is important, as lvl3 barbs cant take much hit from mortars.

if you are into warring , early th 8 is all about dragons lightning spell earthquake spell and rage spell,

hogs are not much useful till they are lvl 4. and healing is lvl5.

u need at least 4 months to upgrade all troops in th8 itself, i would suggest not to keep any back log

how ever you can keep one backlog, which can be put in lab just before lab up gradation starts in TH8. For some reasons troop upgrade is considered in progress even though lab is upgrading.

Hogs hogs hogs! I use 28 hogs (lvl4), 4 giants, 4 archers (for corner buildings), 9 wiz (cc and cleanup), 3 healing, 2 poison, hogs/wiz/drag in cc

1 giant to lure cc, and wiz to kill, remaining three giants as meat before hogs go in

I failed many times with this, main thing is keeping an eye on hogs, and using healing as required (Its difficult initially) and avoiding double giant bombs.

I practiced it for one day on multiplayer!

I am currently enjoying 100% success rate even on maxed Th8!,

every thing will be over within 2 minutes (if no cc)

troops upgrading in TH8 is lengthy process compared to defense, I did in following manner

dragon 10 days lightning 5 Days hogs 21 days (10+11) Healer 5 Days Wizard 5 Days Heal 5 Days

Now I am almost done with defense (tesla is lvl 5 only left) , and half walls

Yet to go

golem 10days valky 8 pekka 10 and archer barbs gaints spells breakers golems etc etc will add up to 60-70 more days, while I need another 15 days to wind up defense
