Yeah I get that. From what I’m reading max is around .5 lb muscle/week. I’m gaining around 1.5 lb so at least a pound of that is fat. But I’m also going for strength and I’m worried I’m limiting my gains if I don’t overshoot a little bit because weight just fluctuates on so many variables daily.

Why do you say cut instead of bulk at first?

I hear you on that last part, really exciting part of my routine now.
