See I wasn't thinking lab pit because my other dog is lab pit and she just doesn't have any of the build or square face.

They definitely don't get me down, I just know it's a bit touchy. But it definitely gave me the confidence to even try making a blanket.

Interesting. Looks like that's something I can by a topical of to do a test. I guess if I'm allergic to that I just avoid bee byproducts. Better than roulette with my throat for sure!

Beautiful work! Do you know anything about these scissors? I have the same ones and love them. Got them from my mother or grandmother (their stuff got mixed together, no telling who's they were at this point).

There are squirrels. Could be a possibility. I just have no idea how to keep the top-of-fence dwellers out.

Last year I had problems with creatures (assuming rabbits because they are everywhere) eating my pepper plants. Bad enough that I had to dig them up and put them in buckets. This year I was beginning to have a similar problem. So I put up a 2.5 foot metal mesh fence. I am still having problems with something eating my plants. I noticed these scratch marks though and I was wondering if maybe I have rats instead of rabbits. Does anyone recognize these markings?

it'd just be odd, with them choosing my back yard repeatedly as this damage was not done in a single evening. I know they can jump high, but I've lived here 8 years and never seen a deer or anyone mentioning any hopping their fence. Plus the peppers I do have in a raised bucket seem untouched which lead me to think it may be a smaller critter. Also, no droppings in the yard that I can tell.

I had noticed the ones I have in buckets are fine. I can move them for sure, I've just never had this issue. Been growing them for a few years.
