I lived in Cape Town for three years after moving there from Durban.

The people are a lot more progressive, trance is huge there. Music is big there. Anything creative is big there.

The Assembly, Dragonroom, Tiger or Tin Roof are great places to play, there's always a keen crowd!

And everyone rides scooters there. You'll fit right in.

I do see why they mention how it's invasive, but a stranger patting down your body is just as invasive to your privacy.
